If the supermarkets are full, but your pocket is empty, then there is no poverty in the country. What we have here is a lack of income distribution. It means that someone is stealing wealth from the middle class.

I spent about $2 on tomato seeds last year and had maybe 8 plants and ended up canning about 12 gallons of tomato sauce.

The guy in the milk video literally walked past a sign that said 2.29 for a gallon of milk and looked at the organic milk that's always been expensive.
thats the horizon organic milk for 10….regular walmart milk is 3.22 for whole milk

How are people on disability even eating right now?? That's what I want to know. I'm a single Mom of 2 kids 17 and 21 and my grocery bill in Canada is about $1000/month. We don't eat anything but chicken, ground beef and fish not seafood…battered fish because that's all my kids will eat….$1000!!!!!😞🇨🇦🇨🇦
My local store has 3.5-4lbs packages of ground beef for about $16-18 a pkg. if I spend roughly $100 on 6 packs totaling about 24lns. I vacuum seal 1# packs which is enough for most recipes. If you buy a $16 pork loin that yields around 20 chops you get 20 packs of 6 for about $100. We spend $100 each month on protein and portion and freeze. Let’s face it. You’re not going to eat ground beef, chicken, or pork chops, 20 days straight individually. We always have plenty of meats when you spread them around. It’s not about what you buy, it’s about how you buy it. Shopping one meal at a time is expensive.
That’s why we grow a garden. If you can’t because you live in an apartment, find a family member or friend that has a yard and you can help them grow food.
People! Groceries, gasoline, and utilities prices aren't increasing. The US Dollar is losing value. It's what happens to a currency when it's overprinted and government debt climbs.

You got it all wrong prices aren't going up up up…the strength of the dollar is going down down down. The economy won't get better because the total gdp can't pay for the interest on the deficit year over year. Game Over.
The corporate price gouging could be fixed, but the corporations are going to have to take a a red bottom line before they will get desperate enough to lower prices. Its either that or we need to do a profit cap for CEOs, COOs, and presidents of companies.
I have seen some of these prices for organic and higher prices for no reason when you can still find things cheaper than that

Buying processed food is idiocy.
You can make far healthier pasta sauce from scratch (i.e. tomatoes, some spices and done). The costs if far lower.
Knowing how to cook is a lifesaver and economic necessity.

Mind you: the produces is covered in pesticides linked to cancer.
