And the common denominator is………..? Avoid them whenever possible.
The millions that they cost restaurant owners and employees is totally worth it due to the enrichment that they bring to our lives. After all, they built this country.
That's why i always personally give the tip directly to the server by hand. I would never leave the tip on the table.
If they dont contribute to society they shouldn't be allowed in public .

I can remember in majority white high-trust societies when you could leave tips on he table and not worry about them getting stolen.

Hard to have empathy. I guarantee this only happens in pretty identifiable areas of the country. No fear of prosecution. No fear of consequences. Like it was said, some of the problems lie with the business owners. If you’re counting on the offenders to come back and make things right you’re delusional and if you’re unwilling to press charges…quit your bitching. The rest is on the judicial system, judges, and prosecutors of these cities, states, areas of the country. No mincing of words. These are blue liberal governed parts of the country. All that needs to be said.
