  1. I may try your sliders but put tops down first then the bottom of the slider buns before prepping. It may be easier for me to put on the tray, I'm super messy lol

  2. one of my fav things, is I do a batch of sloppy joe mix, and even a pulled pork ready, and I put a cupcake liner in the cupcake pans and fill each with the stuff, and freeze, pop out and put in a bag, then mine pull one out, nuke and then onto a bun, faster and no take out, you can do little hamburgers that way also.

  3. All good ideas. I make patties of the beef and sausage for the Hawaiian sliders to make it a bit neater. I've also baked the meat in sheet form and laid it on the buns. Never froze them but that's a good idea. Also pack a wrapped cheese slice with the burger so it can get added after it's heated so the cheese doesn't vulcanize.
This may not be in the same spirit but my Better Half prefers a hot lunch so I will make large pans of different lasagna types, enchilada casseroles, stuffed pepper halves and wrap and freeze for him to take on the days we don't have leftovers.

  4. Even tho its just Hubs & I & we're retired, we're busy & on a hot day when we're both pooped out from our activities, i enjoy having quick meals/snacks prepped like this to 1) save money 2) easy to grab 3) not having to heat up the place with the oven or stand over a hot stove & 4) just the feeling that you've got it together & for a little time spent, 😀 there's hours ahead of relaxation. Great video as usual!!! ❤ 🌞

  5. Thank you for the great ideas, you can also take the pancake mix and put them in mini muffin containers and bake them and make different flavors also make savory ones adding cooked sausage and cheese❤❤

  6. Hi thank you for sharing these recipes 😊 just want to note the written reheating instructions are helpful & appreciated

  7. Thank you for using parchment paper. It's SO much easier. Ready to go in micro or oven. So many people use plastic wrap which CANNOT be microwaved. It releases chemicals into your food and melts. Gross. Yay parchment! Even goes in the compost bin! ♥

  8. Thank you for all of your ideas and showing your process. I do a lot of freezer meal prep but you always show something I’ve never seen. Thank for the inspiration💗

  9. I found that microwaving at 50% power on frozen items makes everything so much better and doesn't cause everything to feel rubbery, or overcook everything. Like the burgers or burritos I would do for 3minutes at 50% power. Check them and add time if needed.

  10. Those Hawaiian roll paper trays can go in the oven, so you can bake those sandwiches without taking them out of the tray! Just pop on a sheet pan so it catches any drippings,

  11. Our mother always did this, she made it a family affair, that way all five (5) of us had a sandwich made with what we liked.
Working two jobs, cutting and sewing material making a new outfit for us girls. We tried to pitch in helping mom.
    Love the video❣️❣️

  12. Wax paper is underrated. As a child it was a fun thing for me to pack my Dads lunch. Usually a bologna sandwich on white bread with mayonnaise wrapped in wax paper. Wrapped exactly the way you’ve done! Thanks for the reminder.

  13. To make your cheeseburger prep easier…put the burger meat on your sheet pan and use another piece of parchment & another sheet pan (same size) on top to mash down the meat evenly in 1 shot ❤

  14. I didn’t know you could put wax paper in the microwave. I thought it had to be parchment paper. Please let me know which is the right thing wax paper or parchment paper. Thank you.

  15. Thank you first.off.im old never made ahead children grad and go like these.any chance you. An include all mi crowave times and oven settings and time needed i. Oven.im raising my grandkids.i need that complete details. My last two youngest will be now this summer in junior high and starting high school.i would love to drop some of these with girls to friends houses to help others allowing mine over and ofcouse for here at house so they can heat and eat when they want..or I want to for movie night snack meals

  16. Just a thought if you did the hamburger in a sheet pan like you did the eggs you wouldn’t have to worry about the crumbles falling out

  17. Hi momma, I always watch your videos to relax and think of my mom who is the best chef I know.

  18. Hey, you may be making those freezer preps for your kids, but I'm telling you that are great for Seniors, too. A while ago, I made bean burritos and froze them, so I had something to nuke for 60 seconds and VOILA! Plus, the smaller bits are great for Senior stomachs.

  19. Can make a pancake sandwich with sausage or ham! Put a little syrup in your batter to sweeten it. Helps the kids keep it portable without adding drippy syrup after they are done.
