  1. Your videos should do well in Japan also…
So many unusual food places the locals probably do not know about.

  2. Great video. Crab boil restaurants are common here in California but I am sure Japan does it better

  3. Billy went to an “all you can eat” crab fest with co-workers. Not a fan of crab so tried to climb the stairs of the restaurant to leave. And they pulled me right back down.

  4. As someone who LOVES Japan and was born and raised in Louisiana, this place speaks to me. 😉🤤😏

  5. This restaurant will contribute a lot of microplastic that will last for centuries 😂

  6. A bit raucous for me, but I love format of the behind the scenes, chatting to the staff and owners of what to expect. No matter the industry, I love hearing from people who are passionate about their craft

  7. I found it funny, even in emptying a seafood boil bag, Japanese do it so friendly and efficiently. USA down south, they will dump that it out and let your clothes be damned from splatter.

  8. Just got back from Japan recently! Damn! I miss Tokyo! Thanks for the vid. Bookmarked to visit next time in Tokyo!

  9. This looks amazing! And right by the hotel that I stayed in. Now I want to go back to Tokyo!

  10. I was a vegetarian for like 20-odd years for ethic reasons, but in the end pescatarian, I left it for fish.

  11. There are a lot of these "Viet-Cajun" seafood restaurants in Houston, Texas USA (Southeast Texas).

  12. Okay, I'm officially obsessed with this place! 😂 Never in my life did I think I'd see someone rolling up a huge Caesar salad and eating it with their bare hands, but honestly, it looks so satisfying. That Dynamic Long Island Iced Tea with the upside-down Coke bottle looked absolutely lethal (in the best way possible). Huge shoutout to the waitress who drew that awesome little ketchup and tartar sauce crab for your crab cakes, too! But the absolute highlight of the video was you fully committing and jumping in to dance with the staff at the end. 🦀🕺 It just looks like such an awesome vibe. I'm definitely adding Dancing Crab to my Shinjuku itinerary for my next trip. Great video as always, Shizuka!

  13. I live in Florida and seafood boil is pretty common. It's one of the most popular ways to get seafood. Especially when multiple people are all going to eat seafood. As most places that do this well only do this.

  14. this type of seafood boil restaurants peaked during my college years in my city. since then they've been declining ever since and finally got wiped out by covid

  15. 何処だったかの国で有るけれども、手で食べるって日本人には抵抗が有るからダメかなぁ?
    なんか、嫌だなぁ・・・。

  16. Wondering if it was more of a Cajun flavor? Love the interviews, the staff seem to love what they do. And Shizuka, the triple threat of singing, dancing and hosting!

  17. I've tried it at Hot N Juicy in the U.S. before, and it was quite delicious. I'm curious if this place is good too.

  18. appreciate seeing this, I finally went to Japan for a few weeks, fell in love, miss it so much, I'm definitely going back

  19. Shizuka sure is finding all the places that sell Coke in glass bottles lately! and i can only imagine that a restaurant that hails from Singapore does crab very, very well, though you almost think there'd be more Cajun/Creole fusion cuisine in Japan, given the heavy seafood overlap. i'd love to try Cajun-inspired sushi rolls or the like! and i'm glad they included the corn cobs in the final bag; it ain't a boil without 'em hahaha

  20. I would love as a wheelchair user, if you could add if there is an elevator or not. From my trips to Japan, I’ve learned that a lot of smaller buildings do not have an elevator. I get it, but when planning it would help out a whole lot. Thank you.

  21. Great video.
A few things that are different from the cajun boils I've been to in California: the shrimp always comes in the same bag as the rest of the seafood boil and the server just leaves you with the bag of food rather than pouring it out on the table and taking the bag away. The bag you got also had a lot less sauce than the ones I've had. It's always been at least a 1:1 or even 2:1 ratio of sauce to food in the bag.
