Food Crawl in Laguna with Erwan (Biñan, Nagcarlan, and MORE!)

In this first part of our Laguna Food Crawl series, Erwan travels across Biñan, Calamba, Bay, Santa Cruz, Nagcarlan, Victoria, and Liliw in search of the flavors that define Laguna today. Along the way, he meets @chefrvmanabat and visits longtime local eateries and roadside karinderyas to experience both classic favorites and newer local offerings.

For many Filipinos, Laguna is tied to memories of outings, hot springs, road trips, and quick weekend escapes. But beyond the resorts and vacation homes is a province filled with stories, flavors, and people worth slowing down for.

Subscribe to our channel and stay tuned for more Laguna episodes!

  1. Kudos, Erwan and your production crew. Thank you for featuring more of Laguna and its food history and culture in this episode. Much more success to you and your team.

  2. FEATR made it again!!! Galing!!! Love how Erwan shared the stories of historical places thru food!

  3. i love this episode ❤ love hearing stories and history!! Keep doing it featr !!! your team hardwork cannot let unseen ❤

  4. As someone proudly from Laguna, this is so heartwarming and emotional to a point — thanks to Kesong Puti. The team showcased the food I've known and eating since I was a kid and this made me appreciate it more, not only the food but the places itself. I am from San Pablo City but I agree that Liliw is really so beautiful and preserved.

  5. Beautifully produced. Always thought Laguna could be the poster kid for the Philippines – green, lush, tropical, dotted with old quaint towns. And then there's the food…

  6. I love chef RV’s bibingka. Personally I prefer the authenticity of the bibingka you can get from roadside stores in Quezon Province, but I also love the white-shelled salted eggs from Victoria (compared to the red ones). Finding out that’s what they use in Chef RV’s bakery makes me appreciate them more.

  7. Love this episode. And Nanay suddenly giving kakanin to the crew, that was so sweet of her. Like Lola is feeding her apos. Nakakatuwa.

  8. I'm so proud of FEATR's team. Ang husay nyo! All the research, production, and post-prod that came with this video spells love for local food discovery and purpose. Erwan has a very honest storytelling style. For whatever reason, his thoughts, reactions, and delivery make me feel like I was with the team on this very journey. I'll definitely do a Laguna side-quest real soon.

  9. I hope all of the Philippines historic infrastructures will keep alive and well maintained and that's supposed to be the project of all the government and tourism. Vote Erwan to be the department of tourism. Or be an ambassador

  10. What a great story, voice-over is so informative and inspiring.
    This is for global showcase.
Erwan is really the OG of Food & Travel in the Philippines.

  11. Finally an extensive feature of Laguna! Thank you so much, Erwan and Featr! I hope you could also try pancit bam-i from Pagsanjan, soo good! Highly recommend it.

  12. I miss my hometown from calamba here, remember when I was a child kpag mahal n araw hindi pwedeng hindi iikot sa simbahan ng nagcarlan, pangil, pakil, liliw at magdalena. Tapos tamang food trip lng sa gilid gilid.. pauwi may ube from san pablo at buko pie sa los baños

  13. Kitang kita mo tlga how hardworking and dedicated Filipinos are to their craft, and in this case its cooking food and preserving the tradition/culture behind every filipino cuisine. Thank you FEATR, the entire production and is very well put. Husay! 🎉 👏

  14. Hope they feature my hometown Alaminos, Pangasinan with its famous Longganisa and the other products of Pangasinan.
