  1. I like the idea of keeping silverware conveniently at the table, means no awkward conversations when the waiter forgets a set!

  2. Yep! Growing up asking the waiter for cutlery and them opening the drawer (right in front of you) was always embarrassing- I should have known lol

  3. I wonder why that’s the law. That honestly wouldn’t go over well in the USA or many other places. Imagine a liquor store next door selling cheap bottles, then people buying alcohol there and walking into the restaurant beside it — and the restaurant legally can’t deny them entry. It seems like the liquor store profits while the restaurant ends up losing and now has to entertain the liquor store’s “customers”.

  4. Interesting .. as an American here it's amazing to hear about how different other countries are . I have never traveled abroad anywhere and haven't left the northern New England states actually myself. Well furthest I have traveled from Maine USA was to Pennsylvania New York border and I had never seen an Amish person before so it was awesome for me to see but my kids were young and they kept pointing 😂 I was like no don't do that but they never saw a horse and buggy before. They had seen ppl riding horses but not the buggies and they were just toddlers ❤
