  1. If you’d like to support my video with a LIKE, HYPE, or a SHARE then I’d appreciate it!! Thank you for being here. I cannot do this without your help!

  2. Should you wash eggs This is what I found out about eggs from farmers.

Yes, but only immediately before you use them. Do not wash eggs as soon as you collect them.

Washing them too early strips away a natural, protective coating called the "bloom," leaving the eggs porous and highly vulnerable to bacteria.

    The Right Way to Wash
If you need to wash a farm-fresh egg, follow these steps:

Wait until cooking: Only clean them right before you are ready to crack and cook them.
Use warm water: Run the egg under warm water (around

    to

). The water must be warmer than the egg itself. If you use cold water, it creates a vacuum inside the shell that draws bacteria into the egg.
Don't soak: Rinse the egg under running water rather than letting it soak in a bowl or sink of water.
Be gentle: Lightly scrub off any dirt or debris with your hands, an egg sponge, or a soft brush. Avoid scented soaps or harsh detergents, which can leave a strange taste and compromise the shell.

  3. Sarah, try adding some beef stock powder, whorsestershire sauce, tomato paste and herbs. If your stew was nice, it's going to be delicious with these other thimgs added. ❤❤❤❤

  4. I would have added a slice of the fresh tomato on the burger to quiet the spice down a bit.❤❤

  5. I see purple but they are called red lol 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ that was a great haul and the meals looked delicious.

  6. Greetings from Germany. I like your Videos. But I think you should choose less plastic. I think it s better to cut your onion than to buy plasticonions. Plastic is a poison for you and the nature too

  7. When you eat the yellow pepper plant the core of seeds. You don’t need to wait and dry them. You can also plant a slice of that tomato. Be careful with the green house. Don’t let it sit in the hot sun with the door zipped up. You will cook your plants. I’m excited to see you beginning to garden. Also wait to wash your eggs until you are ready to use them. They last MUCH longer if they aren’t washed ahead. That’s why the ‘farmer ‘ eggs come with a few smudges.

  8. FOOD FESTIVAL ON A LUNCH PLATE~MMMM, that cabbage soup isn't too shabby either! Great score on the red/purple onion: the "red" ones have the most nutrition value, as I looked it up yesterday before shopping! Your food pantry is simply elegant in its offerings. Look how what would be wasted is made picture perfect! 🦆

  9. Good morning Sarah! Beautiful food pantry day lunch, and another great haul. As for "you get too many desserts" comment, girl get the desserts you want and enjoy them! Those ramen noodles you got are really good, those are my preferred brand. I usually make homemade ramen with them or a stir fry, so good! The stew looked amazing as well and I am sure on that cool day it was the perfect meal. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful week.

  10. Scrambled eggs can be frozen. You could also bake some healthy bran muffins. But anyway, eggs can be kept in the fridge well past the best before date. Just keep them in the original box and store them skinny end down. You can also cut off the emptied part of the box to save space.

  11. You don't get that many desserts and the ones you get are small just for one person. I would like to see your plants. I do remember you had them all on a table at one time. I just wanted to know what you were growing this year.

  12. That's an heirloom tomato. Very tasty and very expensive.. you really scored this week. Our pantry isn't even close to your choices… so happy for you!❤

  13. Once egg prices came down, I started making quiches once a week since I could use the for lunches or breakfast and I could load them with my veggies & bits of crumbled sausage without using a whole lot of the meat. I always cook the veggies Before adding to the quiche & I always use evaporated milk or Aldis half & half instead of milk.

  14. I personally couldn't care less if you wash your hands when you cook for YOU. LOL. You're not grimy. I'm using that Watkins pepper now. It lasts a long time, but then maybe you'll use it a lot faster, being a pepper pepper pepper lover.
