IF you are still in Chicago try White Fence chicken, Jimmy's Red Hots Hot Dog place, Superdawg Drive-in, Aurelio's Pizza , Vito and Nick's Pizzeria and smoked fish at Calumet fisheries. you can try lot of American Version of Chinese food in ChinaTown. My wife loves Lou Malnatis but I hate deep dish Pizza. You tried trashy fast food joints harold Chicken and Portillos . Chicago is known for meat packing. Another one is Koval Distilleries tour , you can try all kinda liquors with a knowledge based tour. I hope you enjoyed your trip
I lived in Chicago and Sicily for a few years but in my home town Bankura, there is a small shop that sells better Deep Dish Pizza and Sfincione Pizza than those found in Chicago and Sicily.
