It’s impossible not to smile when you gaze at these out-of-this-world treats. For June’s Monthly Bake, Vaughn Vreeland brings us a blondie play on the classic American grocery-store treat Cosmic Brownies, with a marbled, galaxylike topping. Brown butter and a good bit of salt are the backbone of this recipe, which comes together in minutes and is extremely customizable. Try adding your favorite mix-ins, such as toasted nuts or sprinkles. Make sure to choose a mix of colors that look nice when they run together, and, most importantly, have fun while swirling them.

  1. He always adds water to browned butter because when he doesn't the cookies are dry? Yeah no part of that is true. You don't need to add water to browned butter for baking, and your cookies etc. won't be dry without it.

  2. That looks like a whole lot of fun. Ought we be vaping before, during or after the actual bake?
