This isn’t a negative comment but an honest question. Do you ever think about your kids never feeling ‘settled’ in life and content? All my teen life, my mom would rearrange furniture,redo rooms and even one day I came home from school with everything in my room made over. Yes it was nice but it never felt like anything pleased her or like what we had was enough. Philippians 4:13 it speaks of being content. I realize this is part of your way to provide for your family but your hubby must be exhausted sometimes. He really gets the award for all he does. I promise this isn’t a dig.

Cut a heavy piece of cardboard a year but smaller than the size of your frame. Use fabric glue and glue your finished fabric to the cardboard. Pull it tight and it will pull out the wrinkles.
Once you finish the outside of your homestead. Draw it out in graph paper and you have the pattern to use to stitch your family's home.

Looks amazing! Normally when you’re eating a meal in the dining room, you’re not eating a microwaved meal. At least for me hahaha. Only special meals were eaten in the dining room. It is PERFECT!!!!

It looks professional! Now you can do a video on decorating your table, sharing a dinner recipe and have the family sitting at the table to enjoy a “special” meal, holiday table decorating, having a sit down meal with Nanny, etc. I can think of a lot of ideas for videos with your new dinning room! I think it is so important to see families sit down and pray before their meal… you have such an opportunity to influence other young families! You are so good at decorating and it would be neat to see you help others, especially family if they are open to it. Helping Nanny decorate her porch for the summer or another room in her house… just an idea. Have a little tea party with Nanny and get the girls involved… it is so exciting and I’m so happy for you. I remember that Shane really wanted this dinning room… is he pleased? You are such an inspiration! God Bless You and keep you and your family safe!

Merina this isn't about your dining room even though I think it turned out really beautiful. You were talking last time about having Hosimoto Disease. Our daughter is 56 and had Hosimoto disease which made her really sick. The doctor removed her thyroid gland because it had stopped working. She feels better but still has issues and needs her blood checked pretty often to make sure her numbers are within normal limits. She is also going through menopause so that doesn't help. It's hard for people to understand why you feel bad just because you have issues with your thyroid but rest assured you aren't alone. If your doctor doesn't believe you when you say you are going crazy fine another doctor. Our daughter one time had a doctor tell her she needed a psychiatrist, she finally found a doctor who did the right test which gave him the correct diagnosis. Hang in there and don't give up until you find the right treatment. 😊

I’ve seen people use a damp sponge instead of sandpaper when they do their drywall seems and any place where they use the joint compound. And the walls are Beautiful. You can’t even see the seams. Wouldn’t hurt to try. And no more dust.

Marina there’s nothing wrong with having your microwave there on a buffet type table. Buffets are used to display items that you use when you are in a dining room. If it was a China cabinet, it would be more for display and use as well. I think yawls whole dining room is beautiful. Love it.
