In Germany (and a lot of other countries) chocolate coated grapes are a normal thing at all kind of fairs. Christmas fairs, Oktoberfest, etc.

They also use red dye for some of those refreshers. I was in Puerto Rico for a wedding a couple years ago and bought one, only the barista told me that they couldnt add the red coloring that was normally in it since it wasn't legal to add dyes there, and they wanted to make sure that was okay/confirm it was still a refresher to me.
I was like 'oh dang, they add dye? I had no idea, thanks for telling me, thats absolutely fine it doesnt have the color' and the near sigh of relief from them was lowkey kinda sad because apparently mainlanders make an absolute fuss normally when they tell them they cant add the dye/sincerely ask for a discount, from what they were telling me.

I used to make Oreo truffles as a kid, lol, I was not a big fan of them. I don't like cream cheese, and I always feel ill after eating it (at the time I did not know I was sort of allergic to chocolate that what made me ill lol) , but other people liked them so I just made them for others,
