Dude, they would not let you in the restaurant because you look like crap💩 you need to shave and dress appropriately. You’re going to a nice restaurant not like you’re gonna go eat at McDonald’s.

I stayed in the RH Canfali last week of which D-Vora is the restaurant. I ate in there at least once a day and I looked like for shit every one of them. Danny said himself he was an hour early. so why embelish it. The staff in that hotel are first class and down to earth so find it hard to believe he was refused for his appearance. It is not a posh place at all. Great Hotel and Restaurant. I only ate from the a la carte menu once and had a rice dish was very nice but couldn't comment overall. The breakfast selection and quality was outstanding. Tapas alley is very expensive and all the restaurants serve the same thing. I've had way better tapas in the UK.

Danny, why English food in Spain? Tapas means small eats, I get it. Why English crap when in Spain? Not happy! As an avid fan you looking for a cheese pull??? WTF! Spain’s food is 1 of the best, and we look for a cheese pull? As a food review we know the name of a garlic dip. Don’t do a review when you can barely pronounce the name of dishes. Your worst review. Camembert is french. Stick to what you know.

Done pinchos crawls in Bilbao and San Sebastian, drink and a pincho in each place, great way to spend an afternoon/evening, and usually some good food, if you don't mind everything being bread based…
Brilliant Danny 10+ to you. Went to Majorca aged 16yrs in 1989 in a YTS , travelled the world since. Travel is the very best industry. I will always remember my first spanish omelette

That isn't good – in the beautiful old town, there are great Spanish eateries with menu del dia and that delicious earthy red wine

I reckon this is somewhere in the middle of the scale between authentic Spanish tapas and Wetherspoons' small plates. Very Benidorm.

Although that first place was a dine-in restaurant not a takeaway, it was not exactly fine-dining like The Ritz. I think not letting you in was a bit OTT pretentious nonsense. Having said that, the place you did eat at; the food did not look the best.
