A succulent Chinese meal at a Japanese airport

  1. Oh wow – definitely going to try this the next time I'm in Japan!🎉

  2. Being in a japanese airport for food is really not bad at all. Things are more expensive, but it’s a reasonable increase in price that makes sense considering the challenges of that location. In america, it’s a hostage situation. You can’t go anywhere else, so that black coffee is $6 and that muffin is $5 and you can’t do anything about it. And that’s in Ohio, we’re not even talking about the actual expensive places

  3. I got excited for a split second, then remembered I'm flying into Itami this time. Alas, no crunchy vegetables for me. EDIT: So they're at Itami, but I have a late flight and will miss them. Curse the sudden but inevitable betrayal.

  4. I'd love to know which part of the airport these food places are in as I didnt see any of them when I was there! Are they before or after security?

  5. Actually, there are lots of things you can depend upon.In US airport. Spending a jaw dropping amount of money i'm the same bottled water that would have cost you under a buck. Being scared, everything you need is going to be.It's confiscated by TSA, despite having bought the expensive small size items for everything. And nearly always, there being some sort of delay or problem. I choose to prepare myself and be joyously shocked when it doesn't happen. That in the food prices making the water look cheap😅

  6. The one and only time I've been to Japan was for a layover going home. I got a steak set, I guess you'd call it, from some nice place and it cost me less than a sub sandwich would at an American airport. Then I went and got a pastry and a sandwich.(I hadn't eaten in over 24 hours). Even with that it cost less than that sub. It took buying two drinks from a vending machine to finally get me to the sub's prices.

  7. Thanks for visiting my mom. We're really depressed because our cat passed away yesterday💔

  8. Last time I went to Japan I ate at the restaurant next to this one. I was like "Oh I went there!" haha..Sojibo I think it was called?

  9. America: "You walked through security so now everything is 200% more expensive. Sucks to suck."
Japan: "The price is the price no matter where you happen to be standing. Why would it be otherwise?"
