Thankful I didnât end up passing out & ended up feeling betterđ! Thanks for watching my friends! Do you like making freezer meals?
Hereâs another new video: https://youtu.be/dGJ58TG5Vxk?si=nFAxIJ8fjWjdYWwQ â€
I am SO excited to do this, Julia!!! I travel for work so I can freeze them in smaller portions and leave some at home with my husband and take some with me to cook at the houses where I pet sit. I love your content. You are so fun and wholesome.
These are wonderful
I always love your meal ideas for saving money. I like thisi one also for meal prep and saving time
Can you make a pdf file for the grocery list?
I think it's a great idea for more similar videos. Thank you for all you do to show us ideas we an use to help us maximize our groeries
Amazing idea's đâ€
Wow Julia! To make 30 meals for $150 is just wonderful and so helpful to many with ever rising food prices. Well done!!
Thanks for powering through the migraine! Yes,I liked this type of video and got many ideas from it. Take care âŁ
I could absolutely spend a day or two cooking and then eat from the freezer for a month. Iwork two jobs, I'm on a tight budget (paying down that debt!), and I'm trying to cook things from scratch because it's cheaper, which means dry beans, dry lentils, tofu, and making my own seitan. Making my food ahead at least for a week is keeping me sane!
Love thisâ€. I'm going to add the chicken bouillon so all I have to do is add water.
That was fun!
This was awesome, Julia! Glad you started feeling better.
Awesome video. I used to make freezer meals when our kids were growing up and we were so busy. It sure helps out when you donât have to make dinner at night and you can just throw something in the crock pot in the morning or on the stove or toss it in the oven when they get done with their after school activities. Thanks for all of these great ideas. My husband now works second shift so I donât need to worry about dinner as much. If he ever goes to first shift I will need to think about it again and this will help with that. Have a blessed week.
Wow, a bunch of tasty meals and not any duplicates. I have done freezer meals, a great time saver.
This really shows how much you can save by batch cooking and by making a bunch of different meals ahead with overlapping ingredients.
You can still get wildly different meals without having to start from scratch every night and without buying a ridiculous amount of different ingredients.
And doing it this way takes advantage of bulk purchases with lower unit prices, prevents food waste and takes the pressure off to cook from scratch night after night.
And it's so much better (and so much cheaper!) than buying a lot of shortcuts and completely premade stuff.
Using those rotisserie chickens was very smart. They are a loss leader and are less expensive than buying and cooking a whole chicken, yourself.
Awesome idea. I can prep for weeks in advance. I work a lot and too tired to cook so this is a great idea. Thanks
Love your ideas. Makes life so much easier when you donât have to cook every single day. Always looking for new recipes to try.
I freeze extra portions but I have trouble ever taking them out of the freezer & using them. đź
I love this video and would love more meal prep videos.
Just 1 question. How do the potatoes do freezing them raw? I heard you should par cook potatoes before freezing them so they don't turn to mush.
Honestly, I think you should make a whole cookbook of just these because I want to make them all, and it would be nice to find them all in one place. Iâll take any/all of these you can share! Thanks for the content!
Julia, you are such a joy to watchđ. I'm planning to start making some freezer meals when items in my fridge need used up. Hoping it will help so we dont have any waste. Thanks so much for all the ideas! They will help so much
Watching now ! Iâve been waiting for this episode all week !!!!!!
So thankful you started feeling better. I have migraines some and theyâre awful! So many great ideas! I love this kind of videos! Youâre one of my favorite. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful familyâ€ïž
I will be making some of these. I always like having meals ready to carry to a friend or someone who is sick or new baby. One lady I occasionally give one to likes for me to bring it frozen so she can cook it when she is ready.
I have been lied to! I was told you can never freeze uncooked potatoes (âthey turn black & grainyâ); pasta (âit gets mushyâ); rice (âitâll be crunchy unless inside a liquidâ). Also that diced tomatoes are a bad choice for a cohesive pasta dish due to the calcium chloride added that helps them retain their shape. Love this. Thank you!
Great video thank you for all your great ideas.đ
Love it. Yes more please
Love this! â€
I also make freezing meals, but I just double meals I'm making anyway and freeze half. That way I always have some meals in my freezer
Most of my freezer meals just did not work out. One that did was chili I put in sturdy freezer bags, and and was just as good as the day I made it. I will try a few of your ideas soon. Thank you Julia!
I like how with the meat you buy, you are able to make different styles of meals and stretch it…even the veggies
LOVED THIS! THANK YOU, SO MUCH.
I never would have thought to cook ground beef in the instant pot!! đ± game changer.
Always stay to the end! Love your videos! Glad ur feeling better at the endâ€
â€â€â€â€â€â€
Love freezer meals! I need to make room in my freezer to make some of these! đ€đ€
Glad you started to feel better.
Wow! I will be retiring in October and boy these meals will come in handy to have prepared. Since I live alone all these meals will definitely take me well into Winter. Thanks for sharing, you are truly a âGEMâ
You went why to fast I have no idea what was what in the slow cooker meals
Everything looked good tho
I tried this a few years ago. Honestly wasnât that excited about it. BUT thatâs just me. We buy cheese at Costco on a fairly regular basis or at our local Fryâs / Smiths when they have a good sale. We have had no problem with cheese. Defrosted on the counter or frig if not using right away.
Julia, you have a beautiful mama glow going on in this video! You're doing so much good for your family and also non family! We are so grateful to have your knowledge and wisdom shared with us on here! Thanks for all your do!
Just wanted to say thank you for not editing out the little mishaps that happen as you cook – like broken eggs and too much paprika – just really helps us remember not to let the little things get on top of us. Keep up the good work!!!
Barbeque chicken burrito sounds great.
I only have the freezer on top of the refrigetor, so I can't do that much, but I'm going to do more.
Love this video.
This was great. More like this would be awesome!
Glad you started feeling better! Loved the video â€
