Dirty Dining: Roaches, raw chicken found at Phoenix-area restaurants

Sushi Ave in Gilbert was cited for live roaches in a food prep area and lettuce touching raw chicken. Tabla Indian Restaurant in Phoenix had six violations, including workers handling food and dishes without proper handwashing. Cloves Indian Groceries and Kitchen in Chandler had the most violations, including raw chicken stored over ready-to-eat food and dishes cleaned without sanitizer. The restaurant is now on notice to clean up or face possible legal action.
