That British reporter did NOT get the pastrami sandwich. When you get that sandwich at Katz it's straight up quadruple that amount of meat. He definitely got a Reuben and they probably dissed his sandwich cause it was take out. I've eaten at Katz tons of times – you NEVER get such a small sandwich

There's an episode of "That 70's Show" where the neighbor's tv is out so he comes over to watch the game at Red's house, but Red's not there, only Kitty. He's all alone there on their couch with his feet up watching the game, and she says to him sort of uncomfortably, "Make yourself at home, Bob. Can I get you anything?" And he goes, "I don't want to put you out –" and she says, "Oh it's not a bother," and he says, "No, you didn't let me finish. I don't want to put you out, but I'm gonna need something with cheese drizzled on it."

Americans still have the pioneer mentality. We stock up and don't shop every two or three days like most of the world shops. Most countries in Europe don't have big box stores like we do.

I've been overseas (20 years in the Navy) and I don't remember seeing many flags outside maybe by a government building sometimes. It's unusual to adore the flag this much.
I stopped going to my local McDonalds because they stopped providing refills. I miss the best coke but I have to draw a line.
In most other countries that I have seen their grocery stores they don't have as many items to choose from. Like their cereal is a 4' section instead of an entire aisle. That's why Walmart and other stores here are blowing their minds.
