  1. I love watching all your episodes. This one is super helpful. Thank you for sharing. I do have a couple questions on the prep. Is it safe to keep cooked rice in fridge and for how long – been seeing lots of info on not to. Grated carrots in water – do they lose some nutrients in the water?

  2. I think the veggies alone would cost us $30 in the US right now 😭 but these look so good! Especially the millet congee! I'm trying to incorporate more grains into my diet and that's definitely going on the list!

  4. I love the budget meals series!
    Two notes on the prep part:
    1 I think for food safety it's recommended to properly heat frozen berries and not just thaw them
    2 I usually throw sweet potatoes in the microwave for 7 minutes and they turn out the same as after 40-50 minutes in the oven πŸ™‚

  8. You can use beans instead of tofu prepared the same way if you want to keep it whole food. I love butter beans in replacement. That sauce is delicious!! Thanks!!

  9. There's NO WAY the ingredients would be $30. A pkg of jasmine rice, even at Walmart is $8. The produce would easily take this above $20. This is just not a realistic figure you're giving.
