Indigenous food is stepping into its next chapter. Indígena by Owamni is almost here, with its soft opening set for June 23 at the Guthrie Theater. Head Chef Sean Sherman and his team have been shaping every detail, hoping to expand in a new space where Indigenous cuisine once again takes center stage. Indígena features bison and elk, oysters on ice, bold cocktails, and a brand‑new Chef’s Table. Whether you’re stopping in for a pre‑show feast or staying late for a night‑cap, Sherman says the menu honors the land while pushing the culinary envelope forward. Reservations are now live, and the grand opening celebration takes the stage on July 4.
