Host Terry Crews welcomes 100 of the best home cooks in America to the most unpredictable cooking competition. In this round, over 50 cooks compete in five different challenges to impress judges Alex Guarnaschelli and @NickDiGiovanni. The challenges include best noodle dish, a rotisserie chicken battle, an egg challenge, a blind taste test, and best party bite. Twenty-six cooks will be sent home, and the remaining amateur chefs will continue on to compete for a life-changing amount of money!

Host Terry Crews welcomes 100 of America’s elite home cooks to the arena where they’ll be challenged to run the gauntlet of the most unpredictable pro-chef level cooking competition of all time. The cooks are randomly selected to compete in challenges that range from blind taste tests to full-on 30-minute cooking battles. In a mid-season twist, the winner of each challenge will be given a chance to either take the cash prize associated with the challenge or add it to the ever-growing grand prize, which starts at $100,000! In the end, 99 cooks will be eliminated by judges Alex Guarnaschelli and Nick DiGiovanni, and one talented home cook will prove they are the best of the best and take home the largest cash prize in the history of Food Network, as much as $250,000.

    Couldn't watch this for longer than 15 minutes. I love Terry Crews, but his intensity and volume on this show is way too over the top and really unnecessary. Imagine Johnny Gilbert on The Price is Right shouting constantly during the entire show. This isn't AGT, Terry. Take it down a few notches, please (watch Jesse Palmer on the other baking shows). This show is already too overstimulating with all of the people and action and dramatic story lines going on. Great premise, but it just needs a little toning down and it would be an enjoyable watch.

    Not real life cooking skills. It’s just dumb. It’s not iron chef with pros. It’s home cooks who are used to the comfort of their own kitchens and appliances. It’s under spot lights with tons of people watching and making noise and bumping elbows with too many other cooks who are competing for ingredients. I don’t like cooking when my husband is in the kitchen! So how can anyone get through this unscathed?

    I'm so happy to see Nick who on season 10 of masterchef with Gordon Ramsay go from being an amateur to a chef and a judge. He is amazing. I would crying too just like Kim

    I don’t know why I keep watching this racist network they use Crews to get our attention and draw us in and all throughout the competition they criticize black cooks and send them home Alex you need to retire your dried up taste buds and who is this big unseasoned white boy, I’m disappointed!!!
