Having been to 7 European countries, I can tell you from experience that the reason the people who went to Golden Corral and served themselves such bland plates, is because that is what they’re USED to 🤷♀️ their food wasn’t bad, just bland AF, with weird combinations that made me frown in confusion more often than not. When you order food over there, you’re lucky if it even has any salt or pepper, and even if it’s touted as Chinese, Indian, or whatever, the spices are so watered down they almost don’t exist. I was really disappointed. I will be honest, I did lose weight while there, but it was mainly because you just don’t get hungry when your mouth knows it’s going to be constantly disappointed. The best food I had while there, was a cool food market where they had like 9-10 food stalls around a bunch of tables/benches inside a building, split by a large dessert/bakery stall. You had to pay at each stall, of course, but you got a few mouthfuls at each one, then sat down and enjoyed it all. This was in Amsterdam, and enjoyed it. But overall, they just don’t do spices over there
Sad to say.. they kinda missed out on the Cajun rice.. ask them to put gravy at the bottom and top.. 👨🍳💋

Golden Corral mac and cheese is 65-70% in a backwater highschool. It is edible but not something I would usually go for. Buffets in general are about finding the right thing and loading up on that shit lol
