This Maine hotel was just named #1 for food and drink in the entire U.S.

  1. Can hardly hear the male reporter due to either background music too loud or he is speaking too low.

  2. As someone from Maine, I have never heard of this lol. I feel most of these kind of places are not meant for locals, and that is a bit weird to me personally! Maine should be more than just a vacation destination. At least 1/4 of kids in Maine are food insecure…sure, this place looks nice…but I care about more than elegant and elevated places

  3. Great news segment. Maine is a beautiful state. I like how the segment didn't focus on food, because Devan and hotel/restaurant already win 'Food and Wine' award for food. You know? Maine news shows respect intelligence of viewer more than other states.

  4. I think this Chef was on "Beat Bobby Flay" the TV show, about 10 years ago, she was very competitive…I believe she lost.

  5. Farming oysters in Maine. That's why the Liberals chose Graham Platner in the Primary. "He's just a facist & misogynist, like the rest of us!"

  6. Geared for the deep pockets for sure.
An average middle class person could not afford the luxury of this high end restaurant.

  7. its definitely good, beautiful spot, but is more of a 7 course tapas fine dining menu. if your looking for a good solid meal, elsewhere is better.

  8. I cant wait for Trump to be dumped so I can visit and stay and try this place …looks absalutly beautiful!

  9. I love the old school origin story. People used to start by bussing tables or washing dishes. Then follow the path upward by showing up early to prepare food or wrap silverware. Then keep working and become either head chef or maitre d

  10. Thank you. I feel it yes. I have no expectations. It's simply a knowing that balance is here. I can feel the pieces aligning. Humanity is establishing peace…peace deals are being signed. It's happening. It's messy too. Even though summer is here in New Hampshire there have been heavy days. I've been called to eat only once a day now, allowing my body to fast and relax the remaining time…allowing a stronger presence to ground. The power of fasting. I hope you are well 🌱🌅

  11. Hands down, best dinner I ever had was at Aragosta. We lived on the Island for about 11 years and went to Aragosta when it was a small venue in "Greater Downtown Stonington" … the restrooms were downstairs next to the kitchen. Devin would almost knock you over as she ran the plates up herself. How fortunate we were to have this be our neighborhood restaurant. We could only afford it a couple of times a year, but the brunch on the deck was quite reasonable and excellent. Thanks, Devin & staff!
