England doesn't actually have an agreed upon national dish.
Some people claim Tikka Masala is the English national dish whilst others claim its fish and chips or Sunday roast.
Others claim that its a "British" national dish but thats pretty stupid since "Britain" involves 3 seperate countries (4 if we're talking about the UK as a whole) who all have their own national dishes (except England)
This idea that Tikka Masla is the "national dish" was pushed by a Leftoid idiot named Robin Cook who was foreign secretary at the time he claimed in 2001 that Tikka Masala was the most popular dish in Britain (I have not seen a single valid source to back up that claim) this guy also pushed the idea that anybody could be British/English just by moving here and that British ancestry means nothing.
