Smart man
This isn't honorable. He's a crook. That's how you get ahead. Be self centered and a hypocrite
Now THAT’S a story
Bad talk
Go upstairs and expose J Diva
If you tried that today, the building would be $4.5 million, you’d need 30% down plus realtors and bankers instead of a handshake, and the police would be there to shut you down instead of direct traffic. Then you’d get sued by the county, your customers, your competitors and your neighbors. Oh and theres no more shrimp to catch.
ate their in 2001, best shrimp at best price ever!
Capitalism for the mfkn win
Gulf of America!!!🇺🇸
❤🎉😊
I’m sorry but I’m not buying that he served over 2,000 people all you can eat shrimp in a day… that’s what the math comes out to.
Now that’s 😅 Capitalism in its rawest form😅
Take a shot everytime he says "God damn". First short you'll ever be hammered from 😂
God blesses him and he takes HIS Name and uses it as a swear word. It’s a. Shame.
America you gotta love it.
That must have been 1973
This is what should be taught to MBAs. Not the designed to fail, money laundering, pain equals profit that they are teaching these days.
1. Don’t settle
2. Make a calculated risk
A mf handshake 😑 and here I am living off a bag of chips every night for dinner.
I need to network with some better folks 😂
Fuck yeah.
This is a great example of how capitalism can elevate hard working and motivated people. Well done buddy.
Love this
Great Story!!
You could never do that today, thered be some many things that wouldn't fly, sanitation police, he even said it was an abandoned building for a time, you couldn't just go from a shrimp fishing business to a restaurant over your morning coffee and by the time lunch comes around everything would pass lol. I know, times were different then and you could get away with alot of that kind of stuff but those days are long gone.
you could do business in them days and make a years wages in a couple of weeks not nowadays no such a thing as a hand shake deal it's a shame this was how someone with a good idea but no money got a foot in the door no bank would lend him money but the owner knew his WORD was as good as money in the BANK 😊 great days
so he broke fishing laws and thought hell let's break some more laws?
Maybe it was just me, but those looked like pretty big shrimp
This man sounds like a got dang legend. Shout out to the original owner taking a chance
Watching this country go from a high trust society to a low trust society in just a couple of decades has been a sight to behold. 😂
I thought Snoopy was a dog?
I fukin Love your story !!
Calling bs. He’s saying he did over 2000 orders in a little over an hour
Love this❤
Really good story but i hate that GD word
These days the handshake is a mere platitude or formality AFTER you've signed in blood.
And the more Recent Gens wonder why we reminisce, sip beer out of cans and angrily shake our heads?
It was so different 4 or 5 decades ago. I can only imagine how eagerly the True Boomers await the Great Bar Stool In The Sky.
There is no reason why things can't be like they used to be.
So this guy massively overfished an area and is proud of it? Yeah I wonder why shrimp populations are low nowadays
It's a great story. Try doing that here in Australia. The man would all but have you locked up.
If you tried that today it’d be a $200k fine and 5 years in jail 😂
you need your own YouTube channel buddy common sense sell your common sense and good humor thank God or Texas
Watch your mouth Bubba
12 times the legal limit. I wonder who he's going to blame when the fishery collapses.
What an asshole.
