  1. This isn't honorable. He's a crook. That's how you get ahead. Be self centered and a hypocrite

  2. If you tried that today, the building would be $4.5 million, you’d need 30% down plus realtors and bankers instead of a handshake, and the police would be there to shut you down instead of direct traffic. Then you’d get sued by the county, your customers, your competitors and your neighbors. Oh and theres no more shrimp to catch.

  3. I’m sorry but I’m not buying that he served over 2,000 people all you can eat shrimp in a day… that’s what the math comes out to.

  4. This is what should be taught to MBAs. Not the designed to fail, money laundering, pain equals profit that they are teaching these days.

  5. A mf handshake 😑 and here I am living off a bag of chips every night for dinner.
I need to network with some better folks 😂

  6. You could never do that today, thered be some many things that wouldn't fly, sanitation police, he even said it was an abandoned building for a time, you couldn't just go from a shrimp fishing business to a restaurant over your morning coffee and by the time lunch comes around everything would pass lol. I know, times were different then and you could get away with alot of that kind of stuff but those days are long gone.

  7. you could do business in them days and make a years wages in a couple of weeks not nowadays no such a thing as a hand shake deal it's a shame this was how someone with a good idea but no money got a foot in the door no bank would lend him money but the owner knew his WORD was as good as money in the BANK 😊 great days

  8. Watching this country go from a high trust society to a low trust society in just a couple of decades has been a sight to behold. 😂

  9. These days the handshake is a mere platitude or formality AFTER you've signed in blood.

And the more Recent Gens wonder why we reminisce, sip beer out of cans and angrily shake our heads?

It was so different 4 or 5 decades ago. I can only imagine how eagerly the True Boomers await the Great Bar Stool In The Sky.
