23:03 I opened an Olive Garden in Encinitas, Ca in the early 1990’s. That was back, when they still made and sold fresh pasta. I worked there 2 years, and learned so, so much. Back then, I learned the recipe to the dressing, and I PROMISE YOU, what you buy at the grocery store is IDENTICAL to what is served, in the restaurants. The reason is that they no longer make it in the restaurant. General Mills owns Olive Garden, and has for a very long time. Back, in the 1990’s, the recipe involved Wish Bone Italian dressing (because they made it), shelf-stable Parmesan cheese (like in the green, cardboard tubes), and added dried basil and dried parsley. It was mixed, in a big Hobart mixing bowl, and then portioned, into bottles, that we sold in the restaurant. I am certain they now simply make it all in a factory, somewhere, and then portion it for either the restaurant, or the grocery store—but it all comes from the exact same vat.
Is this what you tube has become.
The Panera Autumn Squash soup that you can buy in the grocery store is pretty good, although, I've never had it in the actual restaurant.
yeah the arbys frozen curly fries are always stocked in my house. they are so tasty and such a good deal. with a teenager in my house its a must.
Yio these prices are insane! Is it just me?
Not gon lie. The starbucks store bought frappe is better than the restaurant js
i’m glad you pre film videos!!
I haven’t looked recently, but by the muffins and what not you can get a box mix for red lobster cheddar biscuits
Hey Ro! I hope you are feeling better! I think a great video idea you could try would be trying the most popular snacks of each decade from the 80s-2020s. I'm not sure if you have done that before but I wanted to put it just in case 🙂 Loved the video keep up the great work!
Idk where you live but I assume it’s everywhere the Krispy Kreme get delivered fresh daily and you probably just got a box someone didn’t rotate out. I get them all the time at Kroger for years now and they are just as fresh as going to Krispy Kreme ❤
And the Starbucks coffees….? They’ve had them at the stores for years too…
And the PF Changs frozen is better but they’ve had those for years as well… am I watching an old video? Haha
Hopefully you’re feeling so much better Ro💗 thank you for still posting pre recorded videos!!🥲💗💗
The KK doughnuts are tossed every day. Though they're obviously not"within the last hour" fresh like the originals you'll get at a KK store. Where I live, they're delivered at around 10pm every night, so they are effectively day old.
7:41 the fries taste the same. I love them. ❤❤❤
Rock in plain sight had me rollin!
I bought Texas Roadhouse rolls at the store and the butter. The butter taste the same, but the rolls was like a regular roll. They have to be eaten right away or they get hard. Fresh from the restaurant is way better.
15:23 they’re not new. It came out in a dry mix & later frozen
I’d love to see a video where you take the fresh from store vs frozen vs dry mix. Like the red lobster biscuit
This seemed like a good idea. The curly fries do sound good, I would probably want to eat those soft pretzels more though.
19:34 I’ve worked at Taco Bell and I hate to bust her bubble but there’s nothing different between the restaurant and the one sold in stores.
Good see video of yoy
I don’t agree with some of the things she’s calming are “scams”. Wendy’s Chili is better store bought imo. In the restaurant it’s made with day old hamburger patties. The canned isn’t so that’s the only difference. But for the price, you get more chili in the can.
I know at least around me the Krispy Kreme donuts are freshly made each day and delivered to the grocery stores/gas stations that sell them
For the Red Lobster cheddar biscuits they also have a box mix. Tho I till say I have made it and something about it tastes off.
Our Wendy’s only has Kidney beans in their chili.
The red lobster cheddar bay biscuits if you get the mix. it's way better than the frozen ones, and you can control how much cheddar is in the mix.
make a cooking video!
Instead of Benni-Hana you got Benny Hill. 😂😂😂
Store bought fries are jammin
How is everything Ro ? I pray that you heal fast 💐
Krispy Kreme is delivered fresh to the grocery store
imo the checkers/rallys frozen fries are on par with the Arby's ones! both really good
Such a great video concept! Would love to see more of these
The older I get, the more frozen pizza offends me. It never looks like the box.
You sure about Starbucks is better they have been putting more sugar and/or caffeine into there products of late
You also gotta figure some towns / cities don't have these restaurants so the store version is the only kind you can get. Therefor, sometimes it just wins over nothing.
why is the title of this video just a lie
well today i learned theres standalone krispy kremes? theyve always been a grocery store donut to me lmao.
I do have to say the prices you’re paying for either one isn’t at all what I’m paying in my town. Take the pizza for example. California pizza kitchen is 5.49 in my town.
speaking of your hometown did Mo move back? I miss seeing her in your vids
Praying for a speedy recovery!!❤
How tiny is Ro? That Crunchwrap looks like a large pizza when she holds it 😮
I feel as if you should have been blind folded. True test.
Drinking Starbucks in 2026 😢
