Stone ‘Thalis’ – Carved Meal Plates
Rows of large granite slabs are carved with circular and bowl-like depressions, mimicking traditional South Indian plates (thalis).
These were likely used to serve food directly on stone, indicating organised mass feeding systems.
They also had a central canal system through which they can use the water efficiently.
