  1. Fun fact: All the 7th placers in S7-14 kinda had a meltdown in their last service. That’s why I prefer Santos to go in this episode and Sterling in the previous one so that Santos can at least break that curse as the 7th placer (only mess up 1 time when there were 2 tickets left)

  2. I really enjoyed watching Sterling this season. His joyful attitude and the way he lifts everyone’s spirits is beautiful to see. Mr 100 the GOAT💯❤️

  3. You know what? This may be a controversial take, but after watching Sterling’s run, I do think he is genuinely a very nice person.

That said, I also think he may be a little overhyped. His positivity can sometimes come across as too intense, especially when he feels the need to push what he sees as positive onto other people. For example, he apparently tried to push Christianity onto Steve off-screen. And in an environment like Hell’s Kitchen, where everyone is already stressed, exhausted, and under constant pressure, that kind of forced positivity can easily make things worse instead of better. There have been seasons where people clearly struggled to manage the stress, so I can see how someone constantly trying to “fix” everyone’s mindset could become frustrating.

I also think Sterling could be a bit too emotional when it came to his own mistakes. He is definitely a positive person overall, but I do not think he is quite as flawless as people make him out to be.

Honestly, I can understand why some of the Blue Team did not connect with him that much. For me, he could be below Rochelle and Petrozza. So still high, but not as.

  4. If Santos was eliminated (the true 7th placer for me when Sterling was 8th): “It’s impressive Santos made a good dish using all the ingredients, but his deep-fried scallops tonight proved me that he’s not ready to be a part of my Black Jacket brigade”

  5. "I might not have won Hell's Kitchen, but I got something that nobody in Hell's Kitchen has ever accomplished. I got this Youtube Channel's heart".

  6. I literally started crying with Sade when Sterling was eliminated. I'm glad that Chef Ramsay said those kind words as he was being eliminated.

  7. Sterling messing up on the scallops and saying "I'm done" and Ramsay saying "Dont you dare give up" when he could've just yelled at him and kicked him shows he believed in Sterling. Sterling the most likeable person in the hells kitchen show

  8. It’s sad to see Sterling leave HK, he was beloved by everyone and will always be 💯 forever ❤, stay 💯 Sterling 🥲

  9. Sterling’s elimination is wholesome still makes me cry couldn’t hold back tears watching this again he understands not he only got Ramsay’s heart he got everyones heart

  10. 6:40 Sterling asked Ramsay but not the cast about hugging them. Deep down how many of them wanted to hug him, or they just did that for the camera. The biggest problem some people have with Sterling is that it felt like he didn’t know what consent is, that’s probably why he always threw a tantrum every time someone said no (Steve, for example)

  11. IIRC, Sterling and Ji (Season 5) were the only non-Black Jacket chefs to keep their jackets.

  12. I wish Sterling was in a better season. He was the only element that made S13 watchable and it really shows when it comes to the next episodes without him. It's easy to stop watching the season after he leaves, or go straight to the finale where he does come back.

  13. 1:27 If that was anyone else Gordon would have told them

“If you’re giving up make my life easier by taking your jacket off and leaving through the front door”

  14. Now that is how you end your journey on Hell’s Kitchen on a high note even if Sterling didn’t go home as a winner he went home still 💯 %.

  15. The fact that Chef Ramsay let Sterling keep his chef jacket means so much, to me. Sterling may be gone, but he's always Mr. 100 to me & he got all our hearts!!!!!! God bless you, Sterling 💯

  16. Sterling is the kind of guy you would want to invite over for your barbecue or party, his good vibes would make it so much better

  17. It was legit heartwarming seeing how Chef Ramsay and the other contestants were. Even tho Sterling wasn’t the best chef, he definitely left a lasting impact on everyone.

  18. I knew Sterling was getting eliminated in this clip but I'm still bawling watching it. Sterling is in my top best contestants.

  19. You know you're a quality 100 guy when all your competitors are crying when you get eliminated. Even Chef Ramsay looked like he was about to cry and holding back his tears. We love you Sterling! 💯

  20. There needed to be more people like Sterling in other seasons of HK. Maybe there were? I haven't watched every HK season 😅

  21. You can feel whatever you want about Sterling, but you don’t need to defend on his behalf. Remember that one Sterling fan got completely demolished by Aaron when he spread hate on Aaron’s page? Sterling was on Aaron’s side, if you don’t know. No one is perfect, it’s just how much we know of their flaws. And clearly Sterling has some but editors did a really good job in covering most of them

  22. Sterling has been my favorite contestant in Hell’s Kitchen
He should’ve wear a black jacket but I’m glad chef Ramsey told him to keep his jacket Sterling is always 100 to Hell’s Kitchen

  23. That’s gotta be rough. First seeing an emotional but heartfelt elimination and only to be told to nominate even more people

  24. Sterling was offered jobs at plenty of prestigious restaurants after this episode but turned them all down, to work in a hospital as a chef.

  25. "Sterling went farther in this competition than I thought he would. And even though he may have been at 100, but it wasn't enough for him to be my next head chef."
