there was a mistake it my council tax and i got 3 grand in the middle of my nans funeral it was difficult not to be happy i never knew the woman I was just there as support for my mum but i did pay for the drinks at the wake for everyone that was a weird day
It's crazy to think how the punchline is set up in the very first scene. Wilson's no meat diet, which just seems like a weird 'Jim thing' that keeps getting repeated but it's just the setup for the finale. So good! And Nicholas Woodeson as the Rabbi, he was so good as Posca in Rome.

I think that was worse than the time my Mum cut her finger whilst preparingn the sandwiches for the post funeral tea, and realised after she'd brought them into the room that some still had blood on them, and we had to 'surrupticiously' whip the bloodied bread away before anyone else saw it!
We laughed afterwards……

9:42 to be fair, in my experience as a brit, the carrying-of-a-coffin is fairly unusual and kind of outdated nowadays. like i'm 20 in 2026 and they're, what, 25/26 in 2014ish? so not a million miles off, and their reactions make total sense to me. i'd be flabbergasted if i was asked to carry anyone's coffin lol . maybe it's more of a us thing ?

I also thought it was strange that they were so against carrying the coffin… I carried my Grandad’s a few years ago. He carried me on his shoulder when I was a little kid, it was only right that I did the same years later.
To be honest, I did expect that ending, because it was established very clearly that Wilson was ravenous.
