2026 UPDATE:
Amy's Baking Company permanently closed on September 1, 2015. Owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo cited issues with the building's landlord as the primary reason for the closure rather than the TV series, though the restaurant became infamous for viral social media backlash following this show.
After their Scottsdale, Arizona storefront shut down, the Bouzaglos' journey took several dramatic turns:
Relocation: The couple moved to California, where Amy attempted to start a line of cannabis edibles and released a cookbook.
Deportation & Move: Samy was deported to his birth country of Israel in 2018 due to past legal issues. Amy moved with him, and the couple settled in Netanya, Israel.
Divorce: Public records confirmed that Amy filed for divorce from Samy in April 2022.
Current Status: Samy entered retirement in Israel, while Amy has continued to maintain a social media presence, posting her baking creations online.

Ooooh yes if you need to modify an order after the fact, just go k1ll yourself lol… I waited tables for 11 years and I worked at the Montage Deer Valley for 3 years. If you messed up an order in the slightest way the sous chef would call you out as a fuck up and humiliate you in front of everyone. And then when I worked at the St Regis the sous chefs glared at and even ignored servers who brought back food from customers w complaints. As if servers want food sent back 😐 It is a very toxic culture ! 😫

Good lord, Amy sounds exhausting to listen to. She speaks as though her life depends on how quickly she gets her words out. I can't imagine how draining it must have been for the employees.
Its probably something as simple as undiagnosed autism. The way she cant handle stimulus like talking, misunderstands social situations, etc.. she just needs an assessment

I'm in. Australia, and I'm totally blown away by the wages. In Australia, say in a supermarket, depending if you're full time, part time or casual, 20 plus an hour. So in a restaurant, it's more. Around 30 an hour. We don't do tips. There's no such thing unless you're in the main cities, even then, tips aren't much and aren't mandatory. 😮
Omg BOZE!! you mentioning the older staff mistreating you has literally been my life working in childcare. It’s horrible I’ve left so many jobs because it happens to me so often. Every time I started a new job I would literally be so anxious worrying about whether there are older staff and how they will treat me. I worked somewhere where we were all younger and it was AWSOME but my boss was a huge gaslighter staff came in and out😭😂 I’ve never felt so validated! Thank you! 🙏🏾

Made my own raviolis once. I’ll gladly use store bought again and make my own sauce. The ones I made were delicious, but I’m not doing that again without an extremely special occasion.
