To add my 2 cents to the salad debate 😂. If you made it without the crust I would 100% call it a salad. The crust, to me, makes it more of a bar than a salad. I mean really it’s a variation of a blueberry cheesecake more than anything else
You could also use a pie crust for the bottom layer! I may have to make this one for my church Life Group! They will love it!
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I believe I'm going to half it for me and my hubby. I do have a question regarding the grape jello. Do you think you could use a different flavor jello? I have cherry & strawberry in the cabinet. I have everything else I need. I was just wondering, so I would have to run to the store. Give me you opinion, because you've tasted it. And, I do have cherry pie filling. I wonder about that now. I love your channel! Me and hubby watch it often, and I've tried several of your suggestions. I hope to send you a recipe soon. It is one of my hubby's favorites, which his Mother use to always make for him. I picked that up 42 years ago, when we married.
Happy 4th of July. This looks so good but my daughter is allergic to pineapple. Can I substitute something else? What if I just left it out? I’d like to try it but I can’t with pineapple in it.
What a wonderful sweet salad, just great for any summer gathering. Thank you for a unique summer salad to go with anything. Happy 4th of July and may God bless you both.
This looks yummy! Could you use Splenda in place of the sugar?
Looked pretty good for sure.
I love dessert salads. It’s definitely a thing in PA. Was curious if you ever tried making it with frozen blueberries. Instead of the pie filling? I was thinking it might be similar to the strawberry pretzel salad (jello layer). I’m excited to try this for the next family get together. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Looks absolutely delicious. Thank you so much and I hope y’all have a wonderful 4th of July 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Tom and Melissa,
I finally made those delicious brownie recipes you had demonstrated a year or two ago! They were delicious!
This looks so yummy!
It is a congealed salad. My mom used to make those I love them.
I love how Melissa is very combination conscious. She points out the flavors that are so delicious together.
I can't wait to try this. I think both of my sisters will enjoy it too! Hope you have a wonderful Independence Day!😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Tom and Melissa! Happy Independence Day! Happy 250th! 🇺🇲❤️🤍💙🇺🇲
Delicious
Once again…out of the park you guys😊
What happened to the joke? They are kinda corny, but I love them
I would toast the pecans, ad ground some for in the crust.
.My crust didn't turn out like yours,I know I followed directions, its very moist, too moist, taste very good though,I will look up other recipes on YouTube see the comparison, thanks for sharing.
This looks really good! Thanks for sharing!
It looks delicious!👍
Thumbs up
Made this to take to a 4th of July party and WOW did everyone love it! I was unable to find grape jellow so I substituted black cherry but all other ingredients were as stated. Nothing about the three steps was at all difficult and it went together easily with no exceptions! My husband was so thrilled, I intend to cut the recipe in half and make it often. I also intend to try different fruit blends to see how they taste. Thank you for the recipe, as we say in our house, "it's a keeper!" 👍
Hmmm, grape, blueberry, pineapple, sour cream & cream cheese with graham cracker crust – that just HAS to be good!! sue
Wow, Tom & Melissa–I can't wait to try this! Blueberry recipes are my favorites, so this will be a welcome addition to my recipe box. It will also be great to take to a Fellowship Meal at our church. Thanks so much for another wonderful video and recipe!
