one of their best foods is lechon Pig over coals, doesn't seem like you can get it anywhere these days. The couple of places that did have it have closed down and the one at Rooty Hill no longer do any BBQ.char meals.
Sadly the first 2 places looked underwhelming. Wish you got to go to better restaurants and tried dishes that weren’t sweet and more authentic.

Great review mate. Love filipino food. You should try some kinalaw sitting by the beach in oslob after diving with whale sharks. I walked past Halo Halo last thursday around lunch and wanted to go in but was late for a meeting. The carpark comment was spot on. Cant wait for the next review.

the lunch spot u went to gave u their worst selling items bc they probably wanted to get rid of it. They deff didnt suggest their best sellers
Andrew Zimmern (celeb chef/ host of shows like Bizarre Foods etc) predicted that Filipino food was going to be the next big thing, like Italian/Mexican/Japanese etc. But unfortunately it just never took off. It's so underrated. Good to see they represented well here!
