In this special episode, Sareh and Negin set off on a two-day journey into the high mountains to visit their beloved Grandma Goli and Grandpa, where they experience the true beauty of Persian nomadic life far from modern civilization.
Hidden above the clouds, this peaceful mountain camp has no electricity, no natural gas, and no modern comforts—only nature, livestock, firewood, and traditions that have been preserved for generations. Every day here is filled with hard work, simple living, and unforgettable moments surrounded by breathtaking misty mountains 🌫️🏔️
Together with Grandma, they bake traditional fire bread using a century-old technique over an open flame, just as nomadic families have done for generations. The smell of fresh bread fills the mountain air and brings everyone together around the fire 🔥🍞
The girls ride horses across the mountain trails to reach the grazing sheep, where they hand-milk the flock using traditional methods. With the fresh mountain milk, Grandma teaches them how to make authentic homemade nomadic cheese, preserving a recipe that has been passed down for generations 🐑🧀
For the main meal, they prepare a hearty traditional nomadic lamb stew over firewood and grill fresh lamb liver over glowing charcoal, creating a simple but unforgettable mountain feast 🥩🔥
As evening falls, they light the wood-burning stove to warm the old wooden cabin. Fresh milk bread is baked over hot charcoal, and creamy fereni (Persian milk pudding) is prepared using fresh sheep’s milk. The girls clean the old mountain cabin, spread traditional rugs on the wooden floor, and prepare to spend the night surrounded by the peaceful silence of the mountains 🌙🏡
Meanwhile, Grandpa leads the sheep to the high mountain pastures, while the girls experience every part of traditional nomadic life—from caring for animals to learning ancient cooking skills that have survived for more than a century.
