It’s hot around here and that means I don’t want to heat up my kitchen by using the oven, so let’s make some slow cooker dinners this week! All three were delicious and made great leftovers, but one of these became our new favorite!

Meatballs recipe:
2 lbs frozen meatballs
1 jar marinara sauce
1/3 jar of water
1 brick of Boursin garlic and herb cheese

Add all of the above to a slow cooker and put on low for 4 hours (high for 2). After one hour, mix melted Boursin in with the marinara.

  1. Trying the ramen recipe first. I have some ground pork with ginger and soy. I think it will be perfect for this. May also add some snow peas from the garden 😋

  2. Hi Mandy, Thanks for all your hard work and content you give us. Tried the beef and ramen tonight. I didn’t add the chili crisp, because we are not heat fans. We found it bland. I like the concept and the vegetables were good. Hubby was not a fan. Thanks.

  5. For people who cannot stand to brown gr beef, I use the instant pot and do about 3 to 5 # of ground beef and ground sausage. I separate into 1# packages, then freeze. All I have to do is pull out sausage or gr beef as needed. I have been doing this for years.

  8. What happened to the slow cookers that you could leave on LOW all day while you were at work? On modern slow cookers – the setting is higher – things eventually boil on low. The whole point of slow cookers was to leave them while you were gone all day. They became popular in the 70's to assist new working moms.

  9. Just made the ramen noodle recipe – We LOVED it! Will definitely be made regularly – quick prep and the crock pot is a blessing during these 90+ degree days we are having. Turns out my sriracha was out of date and we topped our bowls with sliced green onion and my husband also topped his with chili crunch. I just want to say that i have tried many of your recipes and they never disappoint. Thank you for finding these gems and sharing them with us.

  10. Made the chicken thighs last week and they turned out great. Tonight I made the beef ramen. OMG you were not wrong, this is the best ramen dish. So flavorful. Definitely will be making it again. Thanks Mandy for these amazing recipes.
