Hey Mythical Beasts! We’ve seen the comments about today’s thumbnail and wanted to clear something up: we don’t use AI-generated art in our thumbnails or graphics. The only AI involved here is our team of Amazing Individuals—a bunch of very talented, and very much real humans who occasionally use real stock photos as ingredients in their designs.
Links face at minute 16. I’m dying
We all going to be robots 2:11
Pet peeves: Too many servers and also when chefs/servers use sarcasm in response to modification requests
I love a More like this. I could listen to them have a chill conversation but still kinda debate forever
I will miss the sporked crew 😢
NOW get random servers to come in and tell everyone about proper restaurant etiquette.

Never used a QR code never will. Can't be scammed that way and it is closer to cashless that we do not want.
QR code menu and music too loud are both pet-peeves: the menu on the phone both because that puts people on their phones right away, but also, it's so much harder to read on my phone. The music too loud because I go to the restaurant to talk with the people I came bwith, not to yell at them over the music. Also, that makes the waiter harder to hear, too.
Also, a server not being attentive enough is probably a staffing issue – get mad at the company for under-staffing, not at the server
16:29 completely agree Rhett!!
My big one is when they start clearing dishes before everyone is finished and ESPECIALLY when there's still food on my plate. I get it, you want to turn the table, but I'm not going to eat any quicker
I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant that had backless chairs.
And I've been to quite a number of restaurants.
My restaurant pet peeve is when they don't pay a living wage 🤷♂️
Me watching this as a server, sweating.
P.s: I’ve worked with servers who def still sit at the table when they order 😭
one time i had a server at the melting pot tell me im uncultured because i didnt like blue cheese, which i understand for blue cheese heads is controversial, but i feel like thats a bridge too far
not me working in food service and taking some of this advice to heart. i will not check in too frequently and i will not interrupt important looking convos 🫡
Ok. I'm a yearish older. I'm 50. They are so much more Andy Rooney than me. 😆
As an introvert, who doesn’t like noise, my order would be quite different 😂
Too loud, seated too close, too attentive server, no substitute, backless seat, QR code menu, tiny water glasses and finally server not attentive enough.
These reasons are why I order to go then take it home or hotel to eat my food.
Brain injury?
When I was in Holland, and also I think in Italy, a lot of restaurants had a little button that turned on a light above the table, and then the waiter knew you needed something. It means the waiter can leave you alone and you don't have to have them lurking – best of both worlds!
a Chili’s waitress did sit next to me and felt my soft hoodie lol. but she got us a free lava cake cause our food took too long.
