I learned to make family style spaghetti in one pot that way! Just add water or broth for the pasta to absorb. The extra starch adds to a thickened sauce. There is no watery sauce.

After making pulled pork sandos last week (your recipe with the root beer) we have decided to get a new crockpot. Been using my MIL’s original yellow with brown flowers😀 and I don’t think it’s differentiating between high and low anymore. When I went to the Costco website they were all rice cooker combos. I’m suspicious of appliances that do too many things, but none well. Any advice? I did like that they were square for storage

I use bow tie pasta for my skillet lasagna. I’d use it for the taco skillet too.
In fairness, what makes OG dirty rice “dirty” is chicken livers. Just my two cents from the Deep South of Louisiana. Love this channel! ❤

I made this last night. We loved it. I used an entire pound of hamburger since I had to thaw it. I also used a thick spaghetti since I had an open pack. Something to notice about this recipe is it is pretty much hands on from start to finish, with the stirring every 2 minutes.
