  1. Everyone here SHOULD read The Odyssey!!! Start with the Emily Wilson translation if the older ones are intimidating!

  2. Yet another poisoned dish from history (mythology?) recreated without the poison. Ugh. The historical inaccuracy on this channel is appalling.

  3. I haven't read the story, but I would assume the witch would use a fresh cheese. Maybe even something closer to Labneh. Think, really thick Greek yoghurt.

  4. It was Holy Moly. “She can turn you to an animal that’ll end up on her plate. She can all but make you fall in love like you’re on your hundredth date”

  5. My husband and I went to Greece in 2022 and we still talk about it all the time. I can't wait to go back. In fact, I doubt I would come home! We also visited the Mycenae ruins while there. So amazing to see a bronze age citadel.

  6. honestly think the wine wasn't cooked long enough. a bit longer on low heat probably would've incorporated the cheese and the flour better and it would've been smoother in the end.

  7. Completely off topic but I really really want to see max as Prince Charming!!!! I’m watching the pineapple upside down Betty Crocker video.

  8. I would suggest buying some horse meat for your next Tasting Mythology episode. That way you can eat Trojan Horse.

I'll leave now to save what little dignity I have left.
