Great video, but Guy did not go to Germaine’s Luau in Kapolei, HI, in it, I really wanted to watch the episode, I am planning on going back to Oahu and would like to go to a Luau for the first time, I haven't been to Oahu since 1983 when I won a free trip for two from Koni Shock absorbers for selling the most shocks in the company when I worked for Supershops Automotive Performance Centers in the 1980's.
Guy is right about the to-go containers. It sucks. Before Covid Nicos used plates, dining wear, glasses and had table service. Today, is like they don't care at all. Great food isn't that only reason I'll eat somewhere. Eating out of Styrofoam at once was a great place, isn't acceptable. Funny how Guy called them out and the Chef ignored the comment.
Das the f right!!!! “Big Island” is what the locals call it. But these transplants are trying to officially change the name to something they like or think will help with confusion. Just ask the locals.
