It sounds weird but i got rust off of mums tools by soaking it in coca cola overnight then I washed them in the sink. Only thing that budged it. Not sure if it would work on your metal squishy thing but you never know. Or clean it using steel wool if its not too bad.
It’s because an oval shape mirror is usually used to show the whole body rectangle. Mirrors are usually used in bathrooms. So if a ghost was in like a rectangle mirror, it would be shoulders up, but if it wasn’t an oval mirror, it’d be full body.
So, if the taxes aren't paid on it after so many years, the state takes possession of it and auctions the property off. Now you could take ownership, but it's a super long process and risky. You have to visibly live there for ten-fifteen years (depends on the state) and be seen actively using it and working on it BUT you cannot have permission from anyone who has legal claim to the property. You pay the taxes every year (no, you cannot file for a homestead tax thing that pays your taxes, not until you own it). Then after the time has ended you go to the court house where property records are kept with all your proof of living there, being visible to the public, like people knew you were living there, all the receipts of repairs and tax payments.. and file for ownership.
Your rusty squishing block – you want to sand it with a very fine sand paper on a very flat surface (glass or hard worktop). It's the water content in your adhesives that cause the rust so once you have ground your flat surfaces clear of grot i would recommend clearcoating it as oiling or bluing the block wouldn't work well for you as the oil would transfer.
