This Cheap Steak Becomes Crazy Flavorful Tacos With These Methods

These carne asada tacos load warm corn tortillas with tender, citrus-marinated skirt steak, fresh toppings, grilled green onions, and homemade salsa. Grill the steak outdoors in the summer or use the pan-searing instructions to cook it indoors year-round. It’s one of my personal favorite summer dinners that gives average taco nights a run for their money.

This looks amazing. I'm going to have to make this!
Looks great, especially the meat. I could eat that all by itself. Looks delicious Chef!
I love radishes!!!!! Everything looks so great! I got a Solo Griddle! The BEST griddle out there! Better than Blackstone
Where is the cheap part?
Should I worry about the acid in the marinade from the limes affecting texture of the meat?
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you!!!
Skirt, flank, flap are my favorite cuts of beef. In my opinion, they are extremely universal for tons of different meals.
Flatiron, and tri-tip are also along with my favorite cuts, but are generally a little more expensive.
for Heaven's sake please STOP SAYING SKIRT STEAK IS CHEAP. It's becaue of videos like this that is now costs as much per pound as ribeye or fillet.
Couldn't find your guac recipe in the description 🤷🏽
None of that beef is cheap anymore.
Thank you. What good Olive Oil would you recomend?
You should pretty much always de-pith and de-seed your hot peppers. If you want it hotter use more chilies. The seed and pith have lots of heat but no flavour. So a better plan is to keep adding those flavourful peppers until you get to the level of spice you like. The only reason to include the seeds is in the unusual circumstance that you want it super spicy but you don't want any flavour.
Skirt steak is "cheap steak"? Seriously? Must be nice to live where you live. Our local grocer's have ribeye on sale sometimes for $10-11/lb, and I don't think I've ever seen skirt cheaper than that here outside the KC Metro.
There is NO CHEAP Beef any longer – These guys use it click bait 😂
I'm so spoiled, my HEB has premarinaded sirloin flap that I always make for tacos so good.
Most,Fabulous Recipe!! Such flavors including your guacamole. I will make this Saturday. Thank you Chef Billy P. ❤
I'm not sure why the viewers need constant reassurances that they can handle this.
Some mojo pork shoulder destined for a smoker, would love that marinade.
Skirt steak averages around $15/lb here. How is that "cheap"?
You are doing your video in English. Trust me, Skirt Steak is better known as "Skirt Steak," Not whatever Spanish word you through out there!
What a cheapsteak! 😏
Not to be confused with upskirt steak. 🫨
Just a quickie tip for your Quac. You're probably aware already, but if you put the seed in your Quac when you refrigerate it, it won't turn brown on you and will stay pretty and green. Hope it helps
Perfection in my book too chef! 😁
Are you out of your fucking mind? Skirt steak is more expensive than NY strip. YouTube must pay cooking channels well, because you are way out of touch with the real world if you think skirt steak is cheap.
Skirt steak is very expensive in the Chicagoland area. Even worse is not being able to find an OUTSIDE skirt. It's the tender one. The INSIDE skirt is horrible and it is all I ever see.
I’m about to get these started in a few hours 🎉🎉
Skirt is $24.99 at my local butcher. $18.99 at my local grocery store.
