The REAL Best Chinese Food in Massachusetts! KOWLOON Review!!
Kowloon
948 Broadway
Saugus, MA
This place is known to be the whipping boy around here for many years
It all comes down to price
People are just cheap
That’s it!!!
I will take their sandbagged food over any other Chinese restaurant
If you hit Kowloon on a good night
It’s one of the BEST
But they are indeed inconsistent
Just to warn you
They are infamous for cutting you off after just two drinks too
Which annoys the hell out of everyone including me
Be sure to SUBSCRIBE!!!
I will continue to search for the very Best Food in New England
SALUTE!!!

Sorry Michael, Lowloon is way past its prime. I grew up when Chinese Food was reasonably priced and certainly affordable. $159 for basically appetizers is RIDICULOS. I for one think it's time for it to go.
Best lobster sauce and egg foo young!
You’re right on, when Kowloon is on food is terrific but when it’s not it sucks! Butterfly fried shrimp best than anywhere else
Keepin' it real baby!!!!
Way off, you would be on point 20 years ago before kids took over the restaurant.
By the way, after tear down there still keeping the front of resteraunt as originally when opened.
Thanks for your tribute to Kowloon and for the laughs! You were all pissy that someone might comment on your dirty nails and told us all to F off. If you’re so thin-skinned that you can’t handle comments on your posts, than you have no business being on YouTube. You big baby😥
First date with my future wife 50 years ago.
Despite living out of state , we return every year. Still our favorite Chinese food , but don’t disagree that some dishes are better than others .
Egg rolls are still the absolute BEST !
Maybe they were better long ago, but this place is complete trash now. Makes sense why they are closing.
The place has been filthy for years
You need to go North, Family's in Salisbury – puts this place to shame….
Michael you are wrong, Kowloon is not that good. You are off your rocker for thinking that’s worth $180. Kowloon Mai tais are elite, and those chicken wings/fingers are good. But there are many other chinese restaurants that I would put before Kowloon!
I recently walked by their side door and there were buckets of chicken fingers in open tubs just sitting on the floor of this dirty storage room. The door happened to be open when I walked by. I wish I had taken a picture because this totally disgusted me. I will never eat there or their new Revere restaurant ever again.
It's about Friggin time 😄
Been there many times over the decades. Always a fun time and I loved the pineapple drinks! Same with Hu Ke Lau near Springfield. You always get exactly what you expect. Shame many of these polynesian places could not find a way to adapt and survive.
c'mon Mike … they've got insane teriyaki nuggets aaaand ,,,, THE best eggrolls from anywhere !
Come on Mike, you need to go down to Canal St & Bowery in NYC for good Chinese. I’ve been to Kowloon. It’s good but it ain’t NYC.
Whatever happened to China Blossom? My family loved that place too since we’re from Andover.😢
Kowloon is classic.
Have they published a closing date yet? It had better not be July 31st.
We need @robbyroadsteamer involved here.
This dude knew nothing about food. Balloons is like a circus tent. The food is very, very average full of MSG and completely greasy.
True I do agree. It is the best Americanized Chinese food or one of the best doesn’t come close to anything in Chinatown but Americanized crap yes
They gave the masses what they wanted none of these people here are sophisticated eaters have sophisticated pallets or maybe they do. They just want greasy Americanized Chinese food, and Collins hits all those checkmarks.
Shrimp a knife and puffy ha ha ha ha ha. This guy is unbelievable clean your fingernails.
The food is average at best. The best Chinese is in SE Mass, Fall River/New Bedford area IMO.
We use to eat there every summer in the early 70’s. I loved that place. And I can honestly tell you, we ate at every restaurant up n down rt-1 in Saugus. Jolly George’s was my favorite. I loved their cheeseburgers and fried clams. That was my childhood in the early 70’s. ❤️🤘🏽❤️🤘🏽❤️🤘🏽❤️🤘🏽
The only real Chinese food he ordered is the fried rice, everything else is Americanized Chinese food that Chinese people don't eat. I'm Chinese by the way. And sushi is Japanese, not Chinese, so of course it will not be good.
Probably my least favorite type of food is Americanized Chinese food. My stomach is turning just looking at that greasy nasty crap. Not that this channel is about high end food in any way, shape or form. Subs, pizza and RB sandwiches are the staple of the area….good reviews on those
The same people opened 7 Dragons (or 9 whatever it is) in The Brook Casino in Seabrook NH…nasty as the original 😅😅😅
That lobstah sauce tho. Tell the wongfather we said hello.
The best restaurant was next door….The Hilltop. RIP.
This place has sucked for years.
These crooks sold me cold food that came out in a minute
Cathay Pacific in Quincy is really good, not as good as Kowloon but it's close.
Dude i swear they were saying they were closing but here it is still open def gotta try it out respect ur reviews bro def deserves more followers and if i run into u at a place shots on me bro
Mid! More hype than anything. Food is mid, atmosphere is mid, was disappointed when I went.
Mary's was way, way better.
Fried scallops are good too
