Inside the #1 Restaurant in Hong Kong

Chef Vicky is doing something incredibly special at VEA and Wing. Whether it’s his fusion of French and Chinese cuisine, his obsession with dried seafood, or his vision to progress Chinese cuisine in his own way, he’s not afraid to take risks and has such a clear sense of identity with his cooking. We got the special opportunity to not only try both of his restaurants, but also to get a tour of the neighborhood to visit seafood markets, dried seafood shops, and more and I’m so excited for you to see ❤️

Best cooking advice I’ve ever gotten!
1:46 – anyone with parents who grew up in HK or listen to Oldies Cantopop will recognize the melody. Gave me shivers listening to it.
Wow. Such a fantastic story and such incredible access to the Chef. Love his perspective on tradition and rules and it shows in the food he is making and the ingredients he is using. Another amazing video!
Amazing work Vicky. Still remembered you were a beast when we worked at Auberge almost 20 years ago 😂
Cringey 😩
Editing and vibe reminds me of Ants BBQ "Day in the Life" of his highlighted spots. Very nice, very clean. Narrative is immersive. Nice.
damm i loved the chef, this was quite a informative video of hong kong as well
This is not the number 1 restaurant in HK. Stop lying.
Casual Journe cameo
Eating in VEA next month, can't wait!
"–better to rob one of these shops than a jewelry shop" caught me off guard lmao, that came out of nowhere
Beautiful dinnerware!
This was my favorite video I've seen from your channel so far! Genial and knowledgable chef with beautiful locales and dishes. Well done.
Unfortunately, many of the animals they took parts of in that store are rare and disappearing because of over fishing and poaching.
….do more homework ….the #1 is the chairman…
What a fantastically presented video of some of the best food in the world. I'm biased ofc as a HKer but. Food is so wide and deep
