Green City Market’s Peak Season Farm-To-Table Celebrity Chef Dinner – Klüg Farm In St. Joe, Michigan

If there were an Olympic event for eating my way through a peach orchard, I may have accidentally qualified. 🍑🍎

This year’s Peak Season, hosted by Green City Market at beautiful Klüg Farm in St. Joseph, Michigan, was one of those magical summer evenings that reminds you just how special local food can be. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect—three long dinner tables nestled between rows of peach and apple trees, surrounded by good people, great conversation, live music, hayrides, and even a little bean bag competition (my athletic career remains…under review).

The evening began with handcrafted cocktails, Michigan wines, and an incredible lineup of appetizers before giving way to a spectacular multi-course dinner created by some of Chicago’s outstanding celebrity chefs. Along the way, we heard from the folks at Green City Market, the Klüg family, and the talented chefs whose passion for local agriculture and seasonal cooking made the entire experience unforgettable.

It was one of those nights where every bite, every conversation, and every sunset view reminded me why supporting local farmers and the people who transform their harvest into something extraordinary is so important. What a fantastic celebration of summer at its absolute peak.
