HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is joined by Chef Andrew Gruel for the premiere episode of The Real Food Show to demonstrate that cooking with real, whole-food ingredients can be healthy, delicious, and affordable. but if you pull up the channel separately this video is not listed – very odd – will there be a new channel ?
Hi Secretary Kennedy. Bravo. I think you should roll your sleeves up like you normally do for this show, just a suggestion. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this! π
Whole food plant based is good, and vegan is better.
Please ignore the trolls. Thank you.
Love this concept..thanks Bobby!!
Professional chefs everywhere think this is a crock of shit.
I'm noticing Bobby ate the salmon and not the unfermented veggies
Hey Secretary Kennedy, real food as part of a healthy lifestyle is getting harder and harder. Instead of funding GMO Growers, maybe subsidize organic growers and small farms and a victory garden program. Also why do we have to buy into the pharmaceutical companies to get a food card if we are on low income retirement and can barely survive??? Does anyone in Washington really care about the health of the people in this country or even the country itself???
Dont mention parasites to him
Chef's going in the weeds on policy shit. What's up with that?
I canβt eat seafood. It gives me a massive headache. π€ π’ ππ π£
I love this! Our family doesn't eat much seafood at all, but I've got the recipe shown in this video, and plan to try it out.
Well Done! It is the MOST charitable idea to show people how to be healthy.
Arnβt our oceans over fished already? and what about the mercury said to be in fish?
Why do they act like people are idiots? Rather than give a cooking time, why not give a temperature to bring it to? Funny how he used the word junkie.π€£ They allowed screwworms in to the US cattle by cutting inspections and tracking. Btw this meal with all of the ingredients is more than $5/ person.
Thank you for this! I eat clean and organic but I really donβt know much about cooking.
Great…this is the right way
Looking forward to people becoming more aware of the poison they've been mindlessly ingesting. I've been aware for years and I'm very fit at 62, no meds and no glasses. 6 ft 175 just like High School and I can do anything I could do when I was 30, except pick up 20 something year old girls, not that I would want to anymore, lolπ
Stop watching Tik Tok and invest some time in learning about your health and longevity! πΊπΈπͺ
Start with intermittent fasting and autophagy
Definitely making this! Thanks you!
This is giving the same exact vibe as the WW1 cookbooks the government sent out to teach families how to stretch their rations. Beef is expensive so try canned fish instead!
I eat wild caught Salmon 3 times a week, Even for Breakfast .. Salmon, fried Eggs π³ π₯ and i make Hollindase sauce over the salmon, benefits from Choline and Nutrients in the pasture raised eggs… β€π You can smoke your salmon or white fish and make a nice spread or Dip for vegetables π β€
We eat Buffalo and Elk alot good for the Immunity, Gut…π
I'll be making this but am a household of 1. I assume i can refrigerate the extra salmon patties before cooking? Or cook, refrigerate and reheat?
Sorry to sound dumb, but never learned to cook fish.
Sable Fish and Black Cod are the exact same thing.
Love this so much!!! Best Administration EVER!!! β€ MAHA! ππΌThank you Chef for the great recipes and humor!
Unfollowing I want nothing showing RFK jr. He is killing children
Probably not fresh and no consumer standard. Next it will be a meal made from the bear he shotπ
Nothing is better than freshπ
Bravo!!
Wow! Good job!
Father of 4 here, finding this gives me hope. You are leading us households on a healthier diet which overall will give us a better mental life. Iβve been following you and your stance on how we can change the way of American food. Thanks again
Great idea, this show! If Chef Gruel comes on again would you ask him please to speak more slowly?
Is there a written, downloadable recipe for this meal please?
This really helped me understand the importance of using fresh herbs and EVOO
Bragging about ignoring doctors advice and potentially helpful prescriptions is irresponsible and dangerous.
Nice!!!!
Hi. I'm a single mom in the Midwest. I'm familiar with this recipe thanks to Betty Crocker, but I don't cook salmon patties because it's expensive. (No, I'm not on foodstamps or child support). My kids finally got their first jobs and they contribute to the grocery budget. Our family grocery budget is $100/week. I shop at Walmart. I prefer to purchase the Great Value brand. I researched the cost of the items on your receipt with the cost of items at Walmart. 2lbs salmon: $10.87; EV olive oil: $6.12; fresh herbs $1.78/herb; eggs: $2.17; plain bread crumbs: $1.22; dijon mustard: $1.72; red onion: $1.35; chives: $1.78; nutritional yeast: $5.58; avocado mayo: $3.80; arugula: $3.07; lemon: $0.74; white beans/northern beans: $1.72/two cans; 4 green apples: $3.32. The total before taxes is approximately $45.24. I understand that you are trying to help us all cook real food at affordable prices, but this is nearly half of our weekly food budget. To spend $45.24 for one meal is not sustainable. It's cheaper to buy two bags of dino chicken nuggets ($11.92); a bag of frozen broccoli ($2.88); a bag of green apples ($4.67); a family pack of cheezits with 20 bags ($9.96); and a case of 40 bottles of water ($5.47) for an approximate total of $34.90 which would last the entire week. The remaining $65 can go towards toilet paper, body wash, toothpaste, paper towels, shredded cheese, ranch dressing, etc. I understand the push against processed food, but not everyone can afford to spend $45 for one meal that's probably only going to last for 2 days. I think you need to focus on healthy affordable stretch meals. If you've never been poor then you won't know what a stretch meal is. If you can come up with recipes for healthy stretch meals for $40 or less, this would help a lot of familes.
Love this thanks β€
Never seen a non vegan recipe with nutritional yeast but I'm not mad.
I make salmon patties with canned salmon and they're delicious π
Love this idea for a show! Thank you π
