I love to eat this delicious, fitness bread after my workouts. Especially with some avocado on top and some poached eggs!

 

Difficulty: Easy

Time: 15 min. preparation time, 60 min. baking time

Ingredients (8 servings)

2 tbspbuckwheat flour
100 gwheat bran
100 galmonds (ground)
100 gflax seed
15 gbaking powder
1 tspsea salt
5egg whites
300 gyogurt
2 tbspsunflower seeds

Step 1

Fitness bread

Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F. In a standing mixer, add buckwheat flour, wheat bran, ground almonds, flax seed, baking powder, and sea salt. Beat for approx. 1 – 2 min. to combine.

2 tbsp buckwheat flour / 100 g wheat bran / 100 g almonds / 100 g flax seed / 15 g baking powder / 1 tsp sea salt

Step 2

Fitness bread

Add egg whites and yogurt to standing mixer. Beat for approx. 2 – 3 min. until a smooth, even dough has formed.

Step 3

Fitness bread

Transfer dough to a parchment-lined loaf pan. Sprinkle sunflower seeds on top. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C/350°F for approx. 50 – 60 min. Enjoy for breakfast or as a light snack!
