We really just have one goal – to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.

If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin – then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.

Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️

There’s times we make things on this channel because the combinations are just too good to not put together then there’s times we make things because a viewer request them today both of those come Together I’m talking about chicken cordon blue chicken crispy outside melty cheesy inside ham and just this really tremendous sauce over the top brings the whole thing together there’s one reason and the other reason to make the chicken C on Blue is because for the let me check the

76th time dank ounce dank Oz 332 has requested it every day 706 days he’s asked for it finally you know what this proves the termination that’s what it proves the termination pays off right Max yes and just like that show from a thousand years ago you asked for it

Today we’re making chicken cord on blue because dank ounce is it ounce it’s Dan K Oz ounce Oz because dank Oz ounce you ask for it we begin with the chicken because after a little bit of prep it throws in the fridge for a half hour 45

Minutes we got to get that part going that’s a chicken breast you could use almost anything this is really the traditional way to go I wouldn’t mess with Max’s head using a thigh that’s a piece of parchment put them together like this and then we want to flatten

This out cover it use a little Mallet whatever you got and Away you go you want to get this down to about a quar of an inch all the way let’s look we’re getting there still a little thick let’s look again it’s pretty good tiny bit more and we carry on there you

Go this is perfection so let’s do this get rid of that gross piece let’s begin by seasoning our friend some of our BFF coer salt coarse black pepper garlic powder now in an untraditional move I’m going to use some of this aloette cheese this is this Herby

Garlicky this one happens to be spinach and artichoke but with an herb background we’re just going to give one nice little layer in the middle don’t need too much don’t want to contaminate that SPO we’re trying to stay mostly in the center because we’re going to roll

This guy up great next we ham and cheese it Swiss is the traditional cheese of a cordon blue so we’ll get a couple of these guys in here like that and for the ham I’m using a smoked uncured not Black Forest not picnic or whatever that hell

That is just this kid and two more cheeses were there this we want to roll up starting at one end just like you’re rolling up a a what a dank ounce just like you’re rolling up a a dank ounce that’s chancy I’m going to try and just

Sneak this stuff in there a little bit beautiful all right here’s the move pick this up get a big piece of Saran cut it bring your guy over and set him down like that now we want to make this as snug a little package as we can all the

Way down nice and tight till we get to the end and then twist these guys this little parcel is now going to go in my freezer for 30 minutes just to firm up a bit before we breed him but in the meantime we’ll make a gorgeous little

Sauce our sauce begins ah with too hot of a pan this will help the butter will help we’re melting four tablespoons of butter that should be obvious and when it’s melted we add flour the butter and the flour that I’m adding will form the basis for our bamal you want to mix this

With well and incorporate the butter and flour together so it’s all beautifully combined I’m going to stop for 1 second take it off the heat to add another ingredient and that will be something mysterious in this little package AE of roasted garlic and this is just going to

Amp this flavor up so you roast garlic I cut the top off this I drizzled it with the oil a little salt wrapped it in that foil in my oven for about 40 minutes at 400° and look what happens that big beautiful creamy now not very garlicky

Cloves come out to be mixed in like this just mash them in and when they’ve been mixed in nice the heat can go back on we start adding some milk little by little we’ll start to add two cups of whole milk just take your time there’s no rush

Your goal is to try and get it as smooth as you can in between additions of milk like that it’s thickening very nicely going to let that simmer but while it does let’s add a couple things the first will be a good pinch of our BFF mix it

In and in an unusual move I’m going to add some juice from a can of jalapenos you know the thing about cordon blue for me is that it’s I find it just a little bit Bland I mean I love it it’s Rich it’s delicious but I always feel like I

Want something else and that for me is going to be some heat we’re still in the heat now we can start adding some cheese we’ll test the Jalapeno in a minute but let’s add some Parmesan and that we’ll just microplan right into it it’s time for a little taste this is perfection

It is so good it’s going to need more jalapeno juice but in fact I think we’re going to go with some jalapenos let’s get as much juice out as we can like that and then like that now let’s check there’s no question I’m offending some cordon blue purists but come on this can

Only do great things for it this I’m going to take off the Heat next thing up our chicken comes out we bread we start to cook and what would a cooking Guy video be without a forgotten item well here it is is I want to put a couple

Tablespoons of Deon in here one two that’s what it’s missing all righty now we wait for the chicken here’s our breading station pretty typical flower egg this is normally panko but because of the success we had with the chicken sandwich and using the cornflakes on the outside I’m back at it

The only thing I’m going to do here is put a little BFF in the flour to just give it a little boost great stuff here’s our guy I just started to unwrap that one end I’ll do this one oh he comes lovingly and we begin flour first

Sides and the ends of course into the egg this breading is a messy business man it is a messy business get the ends well make sure he’s all covered then into the Corn Flakes quick wipe of my hands and we cover there’s only so much you can do

With that there’s three ways you can cook this kid first is in oil the whole time the second is in the oven the whole time the third would be a combination of the two and that’s what we’re doing I want this guy nicely colored on the outside from the oil but finished off

Gently in the oven so we can go to the oil and with our oil at 350 and we go gently it’s very heavy and down we go at this point I’m looking for nice color so we’re going to give them you know just a couple of minutes on each side just to

Set the crust help the color a bit before we put them in the oven let them finish off I’m just going to help the top part that’s not submerged with the little splat flashing if you lift them up and look at them now after about 30 seconds that’s a pretty cordon blue

Wouldn’t you agree dank ounce and there let them drip just for a second it’s funny this is going to be weird but I trust my hand ow more than the tongs it’s like you can’t feel the pressure you’re putting on with tongs but I could with my hands all right say

Goodbye the oven’s 350 you’ll see this kid in a few minutes and we’re home and looking kind of pretty I think let’s take our little buddy and put him here certainly smells damn fine that’s what you want you want that crispy outside so the only thing left to do is

Cut in and see how we’ve done and we’re off oh look at that that is cheesy gooey and melty all at the same time all right so here’s my move I’m going to take this guy cut like that oh that little w wedge then remember this oh I remember that

Because I’ve been smelling that for the past 20 minutes and let’s go for it h the jalapeno telling you it’s going to be an important addition to every chicken cord on blue from now on but this bite this bite is dedicated to you uh dank ounce the chicken is perfect crispy on the

Outside super tender moist on the inside the Ham’s delightful the cheese is delightful but I’m telling you it is the little bit of flavor ad from the jalapeno that makes this son of a thank o why didn’t you ask her earlier I would have made this a long time ago

Kidding all right guys thanks for hanging out with us subscribe like leave us a comment tell us what you want us to make we love that you’re here we’re all part of a family we’re a family see You
