Learn how to make and decorate these poinsettia sugar cookies for Christmas! They are sure to be a hit on your holiday table! Trust me when I say these look much more complicated than they really are.

What you’ll need:
10 snowflake sugar cookies (see how I make them here: http://bit.ly/12L8Xn0 )
buttercream frosting (recipe below)
Wilton #366 decorating tip (large leaf tip)

for the frosting:
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup vegetable shortening

Cream together the butter or margarine and vegetable shortening. Add in milk, vanilla and a bit of the powdered sugar. Mix until smooth and no lumps remain. Add in remaining powdered sugar and mix to combine.

2-3 Tbsp with Americolor Leaf Green
remaining with 3 drops Americolor Soft Pink followed by 3-5 drops Super Red
