DIY: Christmas Ornament Wreath!!

Watch and learn how to make a Christmas ornament wreath! I saw these for sale at a local craft store originally marked at $69.99 and they were half this size. A little too expensive for my taste so I decided to make my own and now you can too for less than $15! You can use whatever colors you wish to make it match your decor. Or make it single color for an elegant wreath!

What you’ll need:
-approx 100 shatterproof Christmas ornaments in different sizes and colors
-16″ wire wreath frame
-garland (thin and cheap is best)
-floral wire
-hot glue gun and glue
-wire cutters

I ended up using (17) 3″ ornaments, (36) 2-1/4″ ornaments and (56) 1-1/2″ ornaments.

The finished wreath measures 20″ in diameter. You can use a smaller form to make a smaller wreath if you wish. Also, I used a wire wreath form found at any craft store for less than $2 with a coupon. I prefer to use these over a wire coat hanger so the wreath lays flat against the door. As well, using a wreath form will allow the wreath to fit between the front door and screen door. If this will be going on an outside door with no screen or storm door I highly suggest you secure the wreath to the hanger so it doesn’t fly off. These ornaments are shatterproof, not break proof.
