This is how quick and easy it is to make restaurant style fried rice at home. No fancy editing or jump cuts or anything. Start to finish.

2 cups cold, cooked rice
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup frozen peas and carrots
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp dark soy sauce (I use stir-fry sauce)
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Scramble egg. Add frozen peas and carrots and cook for 30 seconds. Add in cold rice. Stir to heat through. Add soy sauces, sugar and garlic powder. Stir and cook 1 minute. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

To make pork, shrimp, chicken, beef fried rice…add in your meat after you add the peas and carrots and cook until done. Continue as before.
