One of the most popular dishes served at Indian restaurants and curry houses. This recipe is a two-parter for both the tikka and masala sauce.

For the chicken tikka:
1 cup plain yogurt
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cayenne (or to taste)
1 tsp salt
1 lb boneless/skinless chicken breast

Masala:
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp minced garlic
2 jalapenos, minced finely
4 tsp cumin
4 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1-15oz can tomato sauce
2 cups half and half
