  6. Slow cooking food, typically meat or vegetables, fully submerged in fat or oil at a low temperature is called confit. This traditional French technique acts as a gentle cooking method and a preservation method, resulting in tender, succulent food. 
    Process: Food is cooked slowly (often at around) in rendered fat (duck, goose) or oil (olive oil).
    Origin: Historically used to preserve meat by creating an airtight barrier, preventing spoilage.
    Modern Use: Widely used in modern cuisine to create intensely flavored, soft-textured dishes like duck confit, garlic confit, or potatoes.
    Distinction: Unlike deep-frying, which is fast and high-heat, confit is "low and slow," similar to braising, but in fat. 😊❤

  7. Good menu, but I would suggest seeing the how others feel about you fixing their plates. I personally do not like someone else fixing my plate. Just a suggestion
