One-Pan Dirty Spaghetti | Food Wishes
I’m going to show you how to make New Orleans-inspired dirty spaghetti in one pan, which not only means fewer dishes to clean, but the pasta actually absorbs more flavor than if it was boiled separately in water. Ground beef, andouille sausage, and lots of vegetables and seasonings makes the spaghetti “dirty,” and one of the most delicious pastas you will ever eat. Enjoy!

"But who are we kidding?"
Looks delish.
Looks delicious! What type of non-stick pan does Chef John use?
I have been eating this and variations of this for a million years. Add more broth and it becomes a noodle soup.
My Cajun people call that a Pastalaya. Looks good as always Chef!
Tbsp of cream cheese when you add pasta makes is super creamy as well.

More onions.
You might want to call this creole spaghetti
Educate me, please: why not add some red wine to the pot?
For 1 or 2 person meals, I think I would make the base, cool, divide and freeze portions for use later, then when ready, just add the pasta in as shown, and with the pasta, some chopped fresh tomatoes. this looks good
I like using mushroom broth
Dirty Spaghetti should be followed up with Teaches of Peaches Cobbler. Just sayin'.
Cause after all, you are the Chef John, of how your pasta gets done.
ITALIANS: "We invented pasta." EVERYONE ELSE: We don't care.
There's a Cajun dish called Pastalaya …it is what it sounds like.
Thank you Chef John! I have an empty spot on this weeks meal menu. We are going to try this.
Gonna try with ground turkey and chicken sausage.
Chef John, will you please teach us some delicious recipes for maximum nutrition and minimum cost? Groceries are a mint these days.
Lots of fresh Parm cheese to top! I like yellow & red bell peppers.
Break spaghetti !?? Sacrilege!!
I've also heard it pronounced "WASH YOUR SISTER" Sauce……now THAT would be some "dirty spaghetti" !!! Mama mia !!
Love these more simple recipes. I'll definitely be trying this soon.
His speech timing with the up and down seems like a roller coaster ride and I'm curious as to where this person grew up in the world.
I have a wonder? Is there any other garnish other than green onions or parsley that you can put in your savory dishes? I feel like those are both so beyond over done on dishes. Not that they're bad, just that they're used all the time by on-screen chefs and cooks.
The real Dirty Spaghetti recipe from the South involves using an unwashed pan to absorb the extra seasoning
Thanks! 👍 Personally, I always add some tomatoes, and a tiny bit of ketchup.
Chef John over here making prison food now.
Doesn’t it need chicken livers to be dirty?
2:45 "as if millions of [Italian] voices suddenly cried out in terror"

I think Chef John just increased our menu by a factor of 10 with this one.
